The food is very good, the atmosphere is quite relaxing, the service is fine, so all together it's a great value...and be sure to check out the bathrooms downstairs! : )

I had found Galanga's on nymetro's cheap eats guide and decided to try it with some friends. The food is wonderful, with beautiful presentation, and good portion size. Not only is the food a great price but its almost authentic thai, trust me I know being thai myself! The place is small so I would recommend making a reservation, You won't regret it!

The food is really Thai (I know coz I'm thai). People are nice and the restaurant decoration is nice (red and some other colors). I went there only one and I was so impressed, would definitely go back for sure. I had shrimp basil and it tasted really good, just like thai food in thailand (even better maybe). :)

My favorite restaurant in the city, great for broke college kids.

Galanga's duck salad is superb. I've spent time in Bangkok and never had dumplings any better. And the price is right.

This is the only place to open in a while that gives Holy Basil in the EV a run for its money. Very good pad thai and great soups. Try it, you'll like it.
