not thai food!
we ordered delivery last night the food is lacking all the flavors and spices that make thai food what it is. the tom yum didnt taste like it, and neither did the pad thai. the tom see euw just tasted like soy sauce. it was disappointing, especially in light of all the previous reviews. however, will not be ordering from here again. cant risk it!

Consistently Delicious!
I've been going to Galanga since I was in grad school at NYU four years ago. The food is always delicious, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. My must-haves: the duck spring rolls, sake sangria, and chicken pad see-euw. In the summer, sometimes the small dining room can get a bit overly warm, but otherwise, I love the cozy, relaxing feel.

wonderful!
i absolutely love this place, i've been a million times and always had a great experience. you cannot go wrong here - it's relatively cheap for wonderful quality food and service. the lychee fried rice is spectacular, and even the steak is delicious. all the usual thai fare is fresh, tasty and well-presented. it can get a big crowded, but it's a small price to pay for all the other wonderful qualities of this little gem.

average
neither amazing or horribly bad. just average. had the crispy duck salad, I was wondering where the duck was, too much for $8 and barely no duck peices, just small crispy/dried peices of duck skin...? and sooooo spicey! then we had the Jeeb dumplings, again average, the meat inside seemed too hard for a dumpling. then we had the chicken massamun curry and the tofu rama peanut sauce dish. basically it tasted like they were the same sauce. Only pros decent size portions, atmosphere, and prices.

i agree
with most of the previous reviewers. this probably is the best thai in the neighborhood and it is reasonably priced when you factor in the quality of the food. the service is nice enough. one time one of the waitresses talked my ear off. but that's pretty much my only complaint. delivery is fast, the curries are totally delicious and so are the fried noodles. i also probably eat here like once a week.

Best Thai in the village
I love this place and I eat here at least once a week. The food is always excellent and it's fairly cheap. The one annoyance is that they don't take credit cards, but other than that, it's really a great place to eat. Highly recommended.

Always great!
Have tried several meals here and it is always a pleasure. The service is great and the food is amazing. Each meal continues to out do the last.
