    Average

Before I ate at Fusia, I was unaware that an acceptable preparation of penang curry is a thick, pasty substance that tastes like Sweet and Sour sauce mixed with coconut cream. The Thai Fried Rice isn't much more authentic, it basically being Chinese fried rice with a few sprigs of basil thrown in. The Chinese and Vietnamese variations that I tried fared better, but certainly not enough to get me to go here a fourth time.

    My favorite Asian Restaurant

Delicious food, superb service, great prices. What else could you ask for? Try the Beef Udon- it's very tasty and fresh. Great sushi too!

    Good take-out sushi

I ordered 3 of their maki rolls and they arrived very promptly - all of 25 minutes later, I was tucking into some delicious sushi. I would definitely order take-out from them again. The price was pretty reasonable, too (for Manhattan).

    Fabulous neighborhood restaurant

This is a great little restaurant in the middle of Midtown - the food is delicious, and the staff incredibly friendly. Every time I finish I start to plan the next meal I'll eat there :)

    Wonderful Place

Fusia was a delite. The food was well presented and very tasty. The spicing was well done so that nothing overpowered the other ingredients in each dish. Vegetables and shrimp were super fresh. We had some dumplings that were pan-fried - perfectly crisp, but tender on inside with pork and veggies. Recommended by waitress was the jerk beef appetizer. Didn't know what to expect there, but we went with it and it was fabulous - sweet and tangy sauce with fresh mint and basil on top. We also had excellent soups and entrees. My husband went with traditional miso and said it was the best he had since he was in Japan. I had the vegetable soup that was light and full of great stuff like large mushroom slices. We both has things from the Sautee menu for entrees. I had the ginger pinapple shrimp and he had the spicy stringbean with garlic and chicken. Both great. I think I liked his chicken a bit better just because I love garlic chicken dishes. However - the shrimp with pineapple and ginger was great. Very unusual. Not too sweet as one might think with the pineapple. We didn't bother with dessert as we were too full as the portions were generous, including the appetizers. On top of this, the staff were very attentive, quick and just really nice. Very friendly and made suggestions to us about other things to do and see in Manhattan. We would highly recommend this place to anyone. Lucky us - it was just a few blocks from our hotel.
