Fushimi

Me and my boyfriend ate here for our 1year anniversary around 8pm on a friday night. They gave us a seat at the sushi bar which in my opinion is the best seat of the house because we got to watch them make the sushi through a glass and use the torch for some food which was entertaining even though it was our only option because a table was 15min more wait and a booth was about an hour wait and we were starving. They kindly pushed me in my seat and placed the napkin on my lap I was slightly amazed. The appetizers were amazing I got shrimp suomi and my boyfriend panfried pork which is fancy for dumplings. That came quick and we ordered 2 orders of California rolls which I thought were a lil tasteless but my boyfriend enjoyed them. We ordered a side of shrimp fried rice which came in a nice size bowl and was very good. I would have loved to order from the main course section but I was a little scared and it was pricey so I didnt and to finish off we shared a plate of fried Icecream which was delicious overall I would love to come here again. The service was fast, you get treated like VIP and the total for everything came out to $41 and change. It was a nice experience and I can't wait to come here again.

I purchased a groupon for this place and when I told my server that we have a groupon, I feel like everyone started treating me and my boyfriend like we are worthless. They snatched a brunch menu from us because for some reason we can't order anything extra from there while we are using a groupon. Even though we said we don't mind paying extra... then the waitress randomly comes to us after we ordered and tells us that we are required to pay 18 percent tip... really? I mean who did they think we are... so basically they made me and my bf feel so out of place and uncomfortable just because we are using a groupon. Was planing to talk to the manager after the meal but decided that I will probably never come back. The food was very good though.

Way too expensive for disco dining room experience. Not worth it.

We went to this restaurant on Friday. We usually prefer to sit on a booth by the window. I had a great time there. Food was great, drinks are excellent and we had a very good waitress! she was fun, attentive and fast. For sushi we ordered only couple of regular rolls, I like this place for Fusion Cuisine. If you drink Sake, try Unfiltered one! Bon appetit!

Tasetless Sushi.... Overpriced for Bay Ridge this is not NYC...but Bay Ridge for working class people. The hostess/host, waiter, staff say they are all so busy and keep making excuses all night on Friday nigt so that is the excuse for rude, rushed and sloppy service AND the MUSIC they play in the restaurant is L O U D very LOUD! Go else where and save your money and get better tasting Sushi. The crowd is filled w/ many tacky people acting pretensious n snobby for no reason especially in Bay Ridge...not acceptable.

we went there on sunday afternoon, we ordered the sushi and sashimi for 2, it took over 20 mins to make it, we were the only customer at the restaurant, when we saw the dish, it was nice decoration but the freshness of the fish was opposite, so the px was only for the eyes not for the mouth!
