poor interaction, poor food
i just moved to the neighborhood and have been sampling the local restaurants. As this is on my way home I decided to give it a shot. The skinny little spring rolls are hardly worth a dollar each. They have very little filling and lots and lots of dough. I ordered the Pra Ram and while it was filled with a variety of fresh vegetables the peanut sauce was flavorless and very very watery. Lastly the lady who runs the place gave me plenty of attitude. First she asked me if i had any change and when I tried to give her change, which included pennies- as its all i had, she refused. When i told her i didn't have any other change, she shortchanged me by another 10 cents. While it isn't very much money the principle of the interaction along with the poor quality food sealed the deal. I will Never go back here again.

thai one on!
my girlfriend lives around the corner from this place, and we order from this place frequently. i live in manhattan, and the food here is surprisingly good. i normally hate the term 'fresh' in describing food as it's a bit cloying but i would definitely describe their fish as such - and i think it's an apt and important place to use it...i've ordered fish from numerous asian places in manhattan and it's never tasted as fresh as the snapper they use here...also the pad thai, various assorted sauteed dishes, and apps (including the chicken dumplings) are excellent as well. this place would kick ass if it were in manhattan as it's quite a step up from just about any place i've tried there. again, i was very surprised at the quality of the food here.

Very poor quality.
Ordered the "summer roll" as an appetizer for delivery. It was a sorry mess of iceburg lettuce that was browning wrapped with a few measly carrot shreds and a very cheap rice wrap. Ordered the mixed seafood garlic pepper entree. Basically very cheap octopus bits, mostly imitation crab sticks, and a few mushy pieces of shrimp with the shell still on. The vegetables were drowned in an oily mess so couldn't tell if they were fresh or not. Basically this place is the equivalent of a greasy Chinese takeout--except for the fact it's not even cheap. For $21, definitely won't try this place again, nor it's sister on Myrtle. I hope Thai 101 is better. If not, there is always excellent thai at Joya on Court Street.

not impressed
ordered from here last night. delivery was quick and what we ordered, but i wasn't particularly impressed with the food. it was fine, but wouldn't order again. pad thai was overly sweet and gloppy. the basil tofu had an ok flavor and what appeared to be canned mushrooms. not the worst thai i've had, but looking forward to finding better options in the neighborhood.

Great
Some of the best Thai in Prospect Heights/ Ft. Greene area. Much better than the Thai places over in Park Slope. The curries and noodle dishes are top notch.

Going downhill
After my first visit at the restaurant about 18 months ago i was surpirsed by its great food-value ratio and even more by the fact that they would deliver to my place. I'm quite further East at Bedford. The first time I order in, mwah.. not bad, but not as good as expected. I gave it several more tries, but the quality seems to be going downhill every time. After tonight, when even my delivery was wrong and cold I lost my faith in them... Come on Fulton Thai, I know you can do better!

regular take-out
i think fulton thai and it's sister, myrtle thai, are exceptional local thai spots for delivery - though one drawback is that the quality of the food is not always that consistent. ive ordered sweet and sour chicken a number of times and each time the sauce seem a bit different - all usually good, the differece is usually on the potentcy and quality of the sauce. and last night, i ordered tofu kee-mao and the noodles were a bit too over boiled for me, resulting in a gummy texture. ususally the noodles don't come that way. i also ventured to order the fried calamari appetizer which was totally delicious ! the texture was on-point and the rings were piping hot. ill definitely order these again. and the people on the phone when you call in for delivery have been much more agreeable, patient and accurate the last few months.
