amazing Szechuan shrimp
obviously seafood is their speciality - ate with a number of vegetarians so we also tried the spinach in bean curd sauce which was excellent - fried rice ok and egg noodles with mushroom ok. avoid the braised duck with black mushrooms...there are obviously other great things to order. Must have their shrimp - freshest, best prepared and seasoned. Reasonable cost and great service.

Doesn't get much better
Had $6 lunch specials. Came with soup (so-so, usual Chinese MSG mix) and white rice. Salt n pepper pork chops were not peppery but salty enough. Fatty but tasty. Not much bone. Pork chop Peking style was nicely fried, syrup was not overpowering nor too gloppy; taste of pork chop came through. Bitter melon with beef was excellent; black bean sauce was fresh and plentiful (some places scrimp on sauce). Meat was amazingly tender and good quality. Nice wok flavor. Fried fish fillet and tofu was very good; lots of fresh fish & tofu on bed of lettuce. Very tasty and ample oyster sauce. Portions were dinner size. Way too much for lunch. Tea complimentary, bathroom OK. Service good. Been here before for dinner. Specialty is seafood and fried dishes. Lunch in CTown is usually $4.50-5.50; the $6 quantity and quality is definitely worth it.

Great Food
One day I was craving Chinese food at 12 midnight, and found this place. We ordered lobster special which is 2 for 30 dollars. We ordered it deep fried with XO sauce and some vegetable. I absolutely adore their lobster, really crispy and lots of fresh meat. Try it.

Got ripped off
Was charged $39 for a steamed fish presumably out of tank. It was chewy, a sign it was not fresh or it was overcooked. I'm writing this one off.

Great Food & Value for the money
Decor is subpar, especially when they are booked during weeknights for the cheesy weddings. But when you can get a table, the seafood is fresh and cooked just right. Try their complimentary homemade soup, like any Chinese mom would make and it has no MSG in it.

Best Crabs
This restaurant has not disappointed us. We bring friends and relatives who want to come back . Order the crabs - Harbor style. Enjoy!
