Change for the worse!
I have been a customer since 1997. I used to order at least twice a week. My job changed locations, but i still continued to order once in a while. Well...After 6 months of not ordering, I felt like some good and familiar chinese food. Worst mistake EVER... Wasted 15 bucks. Even the soup sucks now!

Great Take on the Go
Foo Ying is a great little place to order food, the food is prepared quick and well cooked. I have tried a few dishes and was very pleased. If you're in the area a must to stop by.

Subpar food except for the rice
I had fried pork dumplings which were made of very very thick dough and a small amount of tasteless meat. I also tossed the Kung Pau Chicken after half a plate, first because I could not figure out what part of the chicken it was (I really think it was twice fried pork) and because it was very greasy. There were few peanuts, but a lot of green bell pepper, so I pulled that out, rinsed it off under the faucet to get off the grease and ate it with the brown rice.

not good
The fried chicken dumplings were mostly dough and very little meat, the sesame noodles were sweet, bland, and a little funky tasting. The Broccoli in garlic sauce was swimming in so much oily sauce that it came up to almost the top of the cardboard container. After I poured out most of the sauce it was edible, but also very bland. An unsatisfying, greasy meal from a town with lots of great chinese take out.

Best Chinese take out in HK
I live in the hood and always order take out from Foo Ying and occasionally stop in on my way home for a pick-up. The food is always fresh, very good and delivery is very quick. The resturant is good for take out but I would not eat at Foo Ying since its more of a take out place with only a few tables an all the chaos you would expect from a busy take out place.

Try the Dim Sum!
The dim sum is excellent, you should definitely try it. I haven't gone into the restaurant, I've only had food delivered and it arrives pretty quickly (15-20 minutes). It's my favorite place for Chinese food in the neighborhood so far.

Overrated
i read the reviews on this page and went to fu ying hoping for a great value and some good food. I should have just stayed at home and ordered delivery. It's an unpleasant place to eat in and the food isn't that great, although it's cheap price allowed me to take on the "you get what you paid for" line of thinking. The steamed pork dumplings were poor - it was hard and there was hardly any juice inside. The beef dishes were rubbery and the bean curd was too hard.
