Solid pizza place
Solid pizza place - good pizza (not great). Recommend only doing delivery. Atmosphere leaves much to be desired. It's not the cleanest place, has zero charm, and they blast the TV volume at unreasonable decibels. And there's always something weird on TV to boot. Last time I went in there they were blasting "Kung Foo Panda." Which was as weird as it sounds.

Simply Irresistible!
For you customers who have a bad taste in your mouth about Front Street Pizza should definitely give 'em another try. It's possible they have used different food suppliers in the past. I'm a working mom and don't always have time to prepare meals the way I'd like to. My family and I have enjoyed 3 nutritional, fresh and hearty meals a day on several occasions-thanks to the guys and their exceptional staff! For you customers who have the same great taste in your mouth as I do, you know the deal...Front Street Pizza is simply irresistible!

OK for Delivery
Prior to ordering I read the reviews on this site. Many are in favor and several are critical. After having ordered the "Front St. Special" for delivery, this is how I feel: Delivery time: 5 -- They got it to me quickly Service: 4 -- Friendly, pleasant Quality: 2.5 -- Mediocre at best. If I'd dined in I'd have been very disappointed. The pizza was good for reheating which was my intention anyway. BUT, the cheese was so cheap! It has that nasty glue consistency found on frozen pizzas. The pie was thrown together with ingredients distributed unevenly. Bottom line: Apparently the place is run by nice people with poor taste. But a pizza is only as good as its cheese and crust. Front St. crust is soft and bready, bad for dining in, good for reheating. But Front St.'s cheese is seriously sub-par. I will keep looking for a better place from which to order in Downtown Brooklyn.

Best Ever
We were on vacation in NYC, walked across the Brooklyn Bridge to site see and ended up at Front Street Pizza, best experience we had. GREAT SERVICE GREAT FOOD AND BEST ATMOSPHERE! I thought I was in a movie...6 guys behind the counter having the best time @ WORK busting each others balls and from what it seemed enjoying what they do and to me that means a lot. THANK YOU for so much fun great food and an experience that I will never forget! We will be back defiantly on our next visit! I LOVE BROOKLYN!

Gluten Free Heaven - (that's not a typo!)
Shortly before moving to Dumbo, I found out that I had a gluten allergy. I found this painfully cruel as I had been excited to be moving down the block from Front Street Pizza. I still ate breakfast there regularly and after asking for no toast every day, I finally explained why. One of the owners was helping me and he excitedly told me that they were going to be serving gluten free pizza soon. I thought he was kidding until he showed me the sell sheet. I've been getting it three or four times a week since, and they've added GF toast and GF lasagna (!) in the past few weeks. I never thought a pizza place would be my GF oasis, but it is - and with great care and service as well by the whole staff. Fantastic place.

Second to none.
I'm new to the DUMBO area, and I was so excited to find this place to grab a quick lunch. The food is delicious and inexpensive (a rare find in new york) The staff is friendly, quick, and will recognize you after a week of patronage. Try the eggplant parm. pinwheel!
