Earlier tonight I went to Friend House with some friends after work and had some of the most amazing drinks from the bartender there. We started with the Sake and Sapporo special and continued on with some Jameson and Mojitos. These guys know how to pour a drink!

Haven't been to friend house in a while and was pleasantly surprised by the new lights and layout. It seems that they are still in progress but looks food thus far. I went here today for happy hour, apparently they have a free hot sake special when you order a sapporo. I gave it a shot and for a guy who doesn't normally drink beer it was a good change of pace. The dinner there was also quite good, I think they may have gotten a new chef because it was far better than I remember.

I have been a long time fan of ths establishmnet but sadly to say the service and food quality have gone down the drain. I placed an order on Seamless web it too over 100 mins to arrive. I called twice and the first time the woman told me that my order was big and laughed another 45mins later I was told the order is out and that there is no way for them to track it but they would be willing to give me 10% off of my next order. I am in the business and am disgusted at the level of service and the way this was handled. Sadly like the review below they just lost another customer.

i have been going to friend house since i moved to the city 4 years ago and tonight will be the last time i take out or order delivery from them. unless you are dinning in, don't waste your time or money. they constantly screw up my to-go order to the point that i check my food before i leave because i am absolutely sure they've messed it up. tonight they messed up the order 3 times before they finally got it right. but what upsets me is not that i have to spend 10 extra minutes in the restaurant until i get my order right (i rated the atmosphere a 4 because it is nice inside). what upsets me is that the service is horrible. they don't apologize. they don't care. they constantly charge me way too much for a salmon avocado roll and seaweed salad and they don't even have the courtesy to say sorry for their ineptitude. they think they're too cool for school. well guess what, they aren't. unless you're greasing up your stomach before a night out on the town, forget about ordering from friend house.

Ordered my vegetables steamed (dietary restrictions) and they were sauteed heavily in oil. I called to check and ask for steamed ones and they swore that the vegetables were steamed. I'm looking at a pool of oil in the bottom of the container. Sushi was not very fresh. Going back to my local favorite for my delivery sushi from now on.

Everything I have ordered from here has been excellent AND they never get the order wrong!

I love this place. They have the best Pad Thai in the city (it is their spin that has a nice spicey kick to it) and their chix dumplings are amazing. They have a broad delivery circle but their delivery guys are rude. i usually tip about 10% or a min of $3 on any order that is less than $40. The last 3 times they delivered they stood at the door and said, " Thats it? No, Not enough". I kindly said thank you then they just started yelling as they walked down the hall. So be on guard for some argumentative delivery people. Other than that, the portions have started to be getting smaller and smaller. That was one of the best things, but that they were pretty liberal with their rations. I hope it was a one-off issue.
