For what it is, it is the best in the neighborhood. Definitely A LOT better than similar places in uptown Manhattan. It's not too heavy, but filling. They probably buy frozen meats, which is fine, but the vegetables and dairy stuffs are definitely fresh. I've ordered from here several times and for the most part it has always been a tasty treat. The only item on the menu that I do not recommend is the guacamole, which is a total bummer, but everything else I've had is quite delicious.

No, this is super authentic mexican - it's a great version of americanized mexican food (hence: "tex-mex" as indicated in the name). it is dependable spot for tasty treats - tacos, quesadillas (try the shrimp!), nachos, and combo plates... great prices, super nice people= good find for inwood

Fresh Tortilla's is probably the best generic Mexican delivery in Washington Heights/Inwood (I'm not talking homegrown/authentic), but it's so slow. The orders always take an hour to get there if you live in the Heights. I here that it's much faster if you're in Inwood. The quality is much better than #1, but because it's so slow, I usually go with #1.
