Fresh Basil's Trattoria

You cant beat the value. I eat in there often enough that my waiter knows what I want to drink, and the bus boy(s) know that I dont want bread on my table. I've even had them make something for me that's not on the menu. I am sure there are more expensive places with better food, but the value here is fantastic.

The service was wonderful...both at the location and on the phone when ordering delivery.

I love the food... but the service is poor. They take forever to bring your food. When you call, management can be rude. Although I love the food, I am not sure I will continue to pay to receive the service.

I've been to Fresh Basil's several times for lunch with friends and co-workers and had never been disappointed, however, dinner is another story. Even though there were only 3 tables seated, they were VERY hurried with takeout orders. My appetizer was fine, but the lasagna came out cold. When asked to correct it, they threw it in the microwave and brought it back to me in about 2 minutes. I can get Swanson's at home! When asked, the waiter was unapologetic, and asked if I would rather wait 30 minutes! My advice is if you go here at all, do so during lunch.

They serve good pasta dishes. Sometimes it comes out over-cooked, so you need to ask for al dente.

Great prices and very good pasta (and that is coming from an Italian) make this an excellent value!

Food quality is actually quite good, and takeout business is relatively efficient (though arguably pricey for takeout). Service in the store is rude, from the waiters to the management; they certainly never learned that the customer is always right -- or even often.
