Disappointed
I was so looking forward after seeing Fresco's on the Today show. My husband ordered Fresco Ravioli from the entrees, We were shocked there were 5 about 1 1/2 sq it was $28.that comes to $5.60 each, are they kidding.Mine wasn't much better Rigitoni for $30.Al a cart. Most of the diners looked as if they were on expense accountants. We will never return.A much better deal at so many other Great N.Y rest.

I'm Still Full!
Fresco is an absolutely wonderful restaurant! I enjoyed everything about it. The Scotto's are warm and friendly as are their lovely staff (who are very attentive but not nearly overwhelming). Every morsel of food was to die for including the humus that came with the bread on the table. For a table appetizer I recommend the "Potato & Zucchini Chips" as they are sinfully good, and the "Penne Gratin" as an entree. It was one of the most delicious pastas I've ever had - rich, creamy and baked to perfection! My cohorts' entrees were all delicious as well, but mine definitely took the cake! Plus, if nothing else, they're Yankee fans, what's not to love??

Excellent but a little Pricey
I had lunch at Fresco yesterday to celebrate a friend's birthday. The food was superb, atomosphere lovely, service excellent. My only complaint would be that the prices really are high for lunch and theprice they charge for a soda is ridiculous. We each ordered a soda, which came in a wine glass full of ice, and were charged $4 each and again when we requested refills. All in all, less than 2 cans of soda cost us $16. Other than that, I really can't complain.

Girls night out
The pasta was delicious! We all shared a bit of each others dishes and I have to say everything was very tasty. It was almost worth the amount of money the entrees cost. The waitstaff were extremely attentive we did not wait for anything very long at all. Overall I would say it was a good experience, I would return again.

Wonderful experience!
I had been to Fresco before for lunch before a show. It was good but rushed, as is the case with most restaurants on theater days. However, eight of us had dinner there Saturday night and it was a totally different experience. Service was awesome (thanks, Vinny!) the food was magnifico! (The tuna tartare appetizer was to die for!) And have to say, love the square tables w/two people on each side! You don't see that often in restaurants, and it was perfect for our group! We all loved our meals and the service, and will definitely all return again! Bravo, Scotto family!!

Not recommended
I went to a business lunch on Thursday. The company was great but the food was bad and worse in that order. The mussels appetizer had broth that was so salty I had to water it down. The mussels were the smallest you could find -- about 1 inch across. The fruta de mare entree consisted of a salad topped with an adequate helping of calamari and shrimp. The problem was the risotto base. It was raw! I speculate that the only way to get the risotto to keep it's square shape was simply to undercook it. Form over function doesn't work with food! Naturally due to it's overrated reputation, the restaurant was overcrowded and noisy. There are too many choices in the area to ever come here again.

Small portions, good food
The homemade mozzarella dry and a hard not the soft and silky I was expecting. The main courses were small for the price but were delicious.
