Done ordering from here
I've gotten Fresco a few times but my most recent order is the last time I'm calling them. My delivery was on time but the delivery man was apologetic I didn't understand why until I discovered all my food was ice cold. Reheated, my tacos were actually pretty good, but soggy. Nothing could save the guacamole, though. It was a wan shade of grayish green, watery, and tasted completely inedible. It probably came from some five-gallon drum that hadn't been sealed properly the night before. Based on that I'm going to find a new Mexican place on the UWS. Ten bucks for 3 tacos and a guac and chips is only a good deal if it's worth eating.

I love their food... im eating as I type.. lol ... their food is just great... i usully order the combination platter but pretty much anything you get with the maxican rice and black beans will taste great... no matter what you order you must get the mexican rice and black beans topped with melted cheddar cheese...also i might want to reccomend their tex-mex-chilli

Fine Frescos
If you don't mind quick, simple tasting mexican - this is the place. They have food available for under $1,25 - not too many places in NYC can say that!

Don't do it.
The Good: It's cheap. They're fast. They pack the food neatly. The Bad: The food is inedible. I am a very hearty eater, and love cheap Mexican food, but this stuff was so bad I couldn't finish any of what I ordered. The Lowlights: Nachos: soggy chips, chemical substance queso. No taste. Soft tacos: Slick texture more akin to a dumpling than a tortilla. Taste wasn't bad, but was not at all spicy. Burritos: Inedible. Filling with a strong taste of taco mix. Evoked the description "rice & beans in a diaper" by another member of the household. To those who like this place, more power to you. To those looking around the neighborhood for cheap, good Mexican food, look elsewhere.

ten year customer and coutning
I've been going to fresco tortilla for ten years now. I always get the same thing, #4, and I always love it. Through the years I introduced it to my high school friends and college friends and no one has ever been disappointed. Its also been the same family running the place the whole time. It is dingy inside, but the food is clean and delicious, the service is fast and five bucks goes a long way.

Terrible
I ordered take out from here. While the prices are cheap, there is a reason why. There were about 6 chips in the nachos, which were covered in soggy guac. The burrito was equally soggy. I wouldnt order from there again.

Cheap N, Cheerful
Let ye be warned, this abode wont win a prize for decor, but ye's gold will travel far. It be one of the best values in this small island of ours.
