    What's in a name?

The ingredients are as far from "fresco" as you can get - tough dry chicken, wilted iceberg lettuce, flavorless shredded yellow cheese, mushy rice, watered down "guacamole," and tomato water that pretends to be salsa. They're cheap but not THAT cheap and in this case you get less than what you pay for. You would have to pay me to eat from this place again. I was starving and threw half of my burrito out. This wouldn't even pass as good drunk food. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

    Great eats - cheap!!

I've been ordering from Fresca since High School, over ten years now, and have a lot of respect for them. The restaurant handles a high volume of orders, very quickly, and sometimes you get your food with too many jalapenos or not enough X or Y, but it's hard to complain for the price and the standard blazing speed of delivery. $8.00 is still the minimum I believe, for delivery, and that covers a LOT of food. For example, I like to get the Chicken Nachos + 2 sodas (~$8 exactly), and pig out. The second soda is critical for arousing yourself from the ethereal, torpid stupor that follows eating a half pound (at least) of beans, several cheeses, chips, jalepenos, and a surprising amount of chicken. Mnnnnn; bliss. For the money, if you're a big eater, this is probably the best place to eat in Manhattan. And yeah, though I will defend this place to the death, I readily admit that the guacamole is terrible, they sometimes under-cook their chicken, and occasionally your order comes a little slow, leaving it soggy. Suck it up, you little pansy. Deliciously greasy and cheap mexican food is not for the feint of heat. Oh and p.s. someone complained about their salad on a different website: if you order salad from a hole in the wall Mexican Restaurant, the problem is with YOU buddy.

    AsianMex

I'm well aware that Mexico has a high asian population...nonetheless, I'm always very skeptical of mexican places run by asians...sorry. My apprehensions were confirmed. They utlize the same 3 vats of types of meat for every type of order...very curious. Burritos tasted exactly like their chili...very curious. Although the value and the service provided by the two people working there are good, if you can spare another buck or two, go to burrittoville or chipotle or blockheads.

    Terrible

While the food is cheap and the delivery was quick, the food was inedible. I ordered chicken enchiladas, but what I received was a folded flour tortilla with burnt chicken inside, covered by a slab of overcooked cheese. This was not an enchilada; this was not a taco; this was old, gross food. Do not recommend at all!

    Decent burrito, disappointing guacamole

I ordered a chicken burrito and chips with guacamole. The burrito was pretty good, though I wish they provided more salsa and sour cream than just a tiny little cup of each. I can pass on their salsa though - has little seasoning and no kick, more like watered down tomato sauce. Speaking of watered down, the guacamole is unappetizing. The base of it is not pure avocado - it's definitely mixed with water or something. It has the appearance and consistency of pea soup and zero flavor except watered down avocado. Stopped eating it after one bite - waste of money. I'll probably go back for the burrito but likely won't ever get more adventurous beyond that.
