Disappointed
So i woke up on sunday and didn't eat until 2:00. The whole time i was sitting around before I ate, I was thinking about how much I wanted nachos, so I decided to order some. Based on the reviews i read here, i thought Fresco Tortilla grill would be a sure thing. I was wrong. I got tex mex chili nachos with beans, sour cream, extra jalepenos, and then there was the guacamole. It seriously looked like someone held up my nachos to the posessed girl in the exorcist and caught her "special topping." It tasted only slightly better. Granted, i scraped it off and killed the nachos that were touching the guacamole, and ate the rest and it was okay (I was really hungry), but just thinking about it makes me sick to my stomach. There is something seriously wrong when you're not able to trust the guacamole at a mexican restaurant. What made me even more upset than this was the rudeness of the delivery person. My total came to $6 and he started arguing with me and swearing under his breath in another language when I asked for $13 back. I'm sorry, but I tend to be generous with my tips and i think that for a delivery, 10-15 percent is sufficient. They didn't pour my wine, bring my food, and clean my table like they do when I eat in, so why should they get the same for riding on their bike for ten blocks. This was almost 20%. Am I supposed to give 40%? It was all-around a bad experience. I would say if you go there skip the quacamole, but knowing that that abomination to the senses was created in that kitchen makes me want to save you from whatever else you may happen to find wrong with Fresco.

The best Tex-Mex outside of Texas!
For those of us who've moved to NYC from Texas (like me), this place is the next best thing to Taco Cabana-like experience you'd expect in Texas. The restaurant decor may not be too spiffy, but who cares go for the take out, and either take it home or walk one block west to Madison Square Park. This place has the best tasting Tex-Mex, and is THE place to go when I need my "fix"! Highly recommended.

Tasty and cheap
So help me, I love Fresco Tortilla. So yummy, and sooo cheap. And the best part - fresh tortillas (hence the name). This is by far my favorite lunch place in the area.

Def. worth trying
I really found the place to be a plesant surprise. The decor is certainly not bad, the service was great, fast, friendly and accurate. As for the food, it was much better than the price they asked. Overall the experience was far better than I'd have expected from such an unknown little out of the way place. Maybe next time I'll actually go rather than ordering delivery.

The perfect first date
The decor is nice regardless of what these other reviews said. Took a girl here for dinner and the place was cheap, yet tasty and had a great ambience. It must be good, I am still with the girl 3 months later!
