The Food is Great, the Service Leaves A lot to Be Desired.

As a vegan I am happy to have a high quality food establishment near by my office. As many have noted, FreeFoods is expenisve, but the food is great. My only complaint is the staff! I get take out when I go there, but I do not think it is asking too much to be shown a friendly smile or thanked when I give them my money.

Good quality food but mediocre service

This place offers pretty good food, but unfortunately their horrible customer service and delivery service trumps all. We ordered delivery for 10 people, after 2 hours it still hadn't been delivered! We called to check the status, and the order hadn't even been made yet!! We canceled the order, and the manager said he would comp us our next order. Three weeks later, we decide to try them again. The food was delivered quickly, but then they forgot a sandwich. When I called to tell them, the manger tried to blame it on us by saying "maybe someone in the office ate it". When I reminded him about our last fiasco, he denied ever taking 2 hours to deliver our last order and said he would never say he would ever comp an order. Ridiculous! What ever happened to the customer was always right? Its too bad bc the food is pretty good (albeit very expensive!) however we will never order from them again.

    EXPENSIVE!!

I got food from the "Cold" bar, which came out to 2lbs, 1 piece of the tomato lasagne, 3 pieces of grilled veggies and their lentil salad and a piece of salmon....The food is tasty, but my total came out to $30.....They charge $14 per pound.....That's crazy........This will be my first and only time back here.......

    Bad Delivery

Good Food but delivery is no good...excuses are always that they have too many orders. I've waited over an hour past the delievery time for 1 sandwich and 1 salad when I placed the order the day before.

    Overpriced & poor service

As a vegetarian who prefers organic and works in midtown I thought that this was a great lunch spot. I, stupidly, was willing to pay the outrageous prices for a basic salad until every order that I placed would arrive incomplete. Not only were my orders always missing something but the manager was so rude about it that out of principle I will never order from here again. I can always find a new lunch spot but FreeFoods has permanently lost costumer and I will never recommend it to anyone. This place is not worth your money.

    Awesome Food

HIghly recommended, if you dont mind paying a high price for excellent organic food. SOme things are overpriced, for no reason, but the majority of foods are delicious and high quality. The soups, salads and sandies are really deicious-- but the raw and vegan tomato lasanga is the best-- although very expensive. so like i said, if you dont mind to spend your money, eat at freefoods.

The food does not match the description

This is what I ordered: Eastern Tiger salad with lemongrass chicken, spiced cashews, sesame roasted shiitake, green papaya, pickled tomato and spicy mango dressing and a roll (at 75cents extra). Sounds awesome, doesn't it? When you shut your eyes you can almost taste it, right? The chicken had no taste, the cashews were not spiced, the sesame roasted shiitake was bland, there was no green papaya in the salad, the pickled tomatoes were salty and good and they sent the wrong dressing. The 75 cent roll was not a roll. It was a very small piece of stale bread. I measured it. It was 1 inch deep, 1 1/2 inch high and 2 inch wide. Also, again, it was stale. I really wanted this place to be good. I'm all about the organic, but this was a real disappointment. It wasn't awful, but it certainly wasn't good. They do not begin to deliver what they advertise. I don't think I'll be ordering from there again.
