    Great!

This place is the perfect neighborhood joint! Good food, Great vibe and Great service. I usually come for dinner but the brunch is great too, $14.95 and you get freshly baked blueberry muffins and a drink. My faves for dinner are the Penne Pesto and the Roasted Chicken. You can't go wrong here!

Not worth the wait or prices

Yet another pretentious NY brunch place. Hour long waits and $18 brunch that includes the required muffin basket and mimosa whether or not you want them. I don’t get the appeal.

Oh Fred, Don't Fail Me Now!

Westside Fred's used to be my favorite neighborhood restaurant... the owner was always around, remembered my name, the food was yummy, and the service was fantastic. Until Fred's on the East side opened. Then, the owner was never there, the service suffered, and I'm sad to say, so did the food. I still go out of loyalty, hoping to find the Fred's of yesteryear. In all truth, the food's not bad, but it's not the same. My visits are far less frequent. C'mon David, bring back my favorite Fred's! We love you!

    great discovery

Our Valentine's Day dinner at Fred's. Pleasant and friendly atmosphere.Has that really special quality missing from a lot of restaurants: tables that are not too close together! Our waitress was attractive and helpful. The food was good and nicely served with very generous portions. Though we are not often in the neighborhood we plan on a return visit soon.

    Nice night out

My husband and I just moved to the area and were looking for a dinner spot ... Overally, I thought it was really good. It does get pretty loud in the dining area, but it has a cozy, warm atmosphere. The food was really good. And I thought the service was efficient. Would definitely go back...when we're in the mood for 'comfort' or relaxed dining.

    Awesome!

This place has the most amazing homemade macaroni and cheese. If you're in the mood for good comfort food, you have to check this place out! Nice relaxed atmosphere but there might be a wait depending on when you go.
