Fred's At Barneys New York

Don't be fooled by the location - Fred's is far more than just a department store add-on. One of the best business lunches I've had in recent memory. The food was excellent, service was quick, attentive, and unintrusive, the space was perfectly pleasant and quiet enough to have a reasonable conversation. I'll be back.

I absolutely love Fred's at Barney's so today at work, when I was craving a salad, I thought I would try delivery. The salad is a shadow of its normal self when served at the restaurant yet just as expensive. Oh, and don't forget the $16 dollar charge for delivery.

Freds is absolutly amazing. They food is fabulous and the service is wonderful. The server whom i have, every time i have been there usually someone different, have all been equally as a perfect. They are constantly coming over to make sure everything is okay, which it is. The food is sensational, deffinatly have a salad, and their grilled calamari is fabulous. In addition their crab cakes, and burgers are amoung my favorite things. You will not be dissapointed when or if you go, everything is just wonderful.

Fred's is one of my favorite restaurants. The food is always great and the service is consistently good. The Madison Ave. salad and the burger is great but my favorite has to be the homemade pasta with fresh tomato and basil sauce. It is a little expensive, but also very worth it.

Pretty expensive, but great food, service, and atmosphere. Order the asparagus!
