I have been going here since I was a kid when they were located on 69th Street. I love their plain pizza and the empanada's are to die for. I highly recommend this place for pizza.

    great find, quick delivery

I stumbled upon F&P on the way home and gave delivery a try that weekend. The pizza was fresh, tasty and creative (I do have a preference for places that put together spicy latino flavors on pizzas.) The downside is that they only take cash and the restaurant itself is tiny.

    Soy Cheese

This is the only place on the upper west side that serves soy cheese pizza - plus has whole wheat crust for their other pies. Fresh ingredients, generously sized slices - good stuff.

    Soy Cheese Pizza!

Been a big fan of F&P's ever since I moved to New York for one reason - the soy cheese pizza. For someone who loves pizza but is really severely lactose intolerant, there are only a couple of places in the city you can just walk in and get slice without ordering a whole cheeseless pie from scratch or running the risk of getting sick. I'd rather they made it on a regular crust instead of whole wheat, but pizza beggars can't be choosers!

    Pretty good

I ordered from here recently and thought it was pretty good. We had the BBQ chicken pizza, which was tasty. I wouldn't say it was the best pizza I've ever had, but it was certainly good enough to order from here again. I do like that they have whole wheat crust and a lot of toppings to choose from, which gives it an edge over other traditional pizza places with boring and limited topping choices. Worth a try!

    Not New York Slice

Compared to other New York slices this doesn't compare. Good variety of wheat pizza and toppings, but just isn't that good.

    Best in the area

I've lived on the UWS for the past 6 months and I can honestly say this is the best pizza in the area. Having been to Lombardi's, Grimaldi's, John's, and DiFara's, this pizza is pretty darn good.
