Service not good. Rude waiter Wednesday night and he questioned the tip I gave him. Did not want to insult him but he embarrassed me in front of my family. High prices, for very average food. Mud for coffee. Watery ice tea. Thought I was taking my two job-hunting relatives for a nice dinner--which I could not afford myself, but wanted to give them a treat. this was a expensive trick, no treat. Then...to have the waiter embarrass me. Wow. Kids running around at 8 PM. Annoying music. Busboy taking the silverware and then waiter delivering the coffee 15 minutes after ordered--so no spoon to stir with--why bother asking for a spoon if the service shown to be inferior? Waiter tells me he's busy. Oh really? You guys cannot fool the folks in NYC, especially UWS folks.Going to Patsy's next time.

Authentic Italian Pizza
As a true Italian (not Italian-American), I can say that this pizza is on par with the best pizza you would get anywhere in Naples. If you are looking for an American pizza, do not come here because you will be disappointed. The pizza makers are here on workers visas from Naples, and they are rotated out every 3 months. All ingredients arrive fresh from Italy on Saturday mornings. This place essentially brings Naples to the UWS. I have never tried the pasta dishes so I cannot speak to those, but the pizza here is unmatched in this country. Additionally the ricotta and mozzarella--which come from Italy--are exquisite. We always receive amazing service, which includes free appetizers and limoncello. If you appreciate true Italian food, do not pass this place up!

would be fine but at half the price!
this place is just way too expensive for what it is. the food isn't bad - but then you get the bill and it leaves a bad taste in your mouth. just one of those small glass bottles of soda costs $4! personal pizzas average around $20. it's just too much money for what it is.

a problem with being italian
a problem with being italian and not italian-american is to know what real italian food is and how rare it is to fiind in new york. if you don't like the food here and are going t italy, bring a lunch bag - you won;t like the food there either. however, if you do like italian food and are a west sider, this place is a wonder. no more schlepping to the east side and via emilia, or sclepping to the village and 28 carmine, whe have what we need here. se ti piacce pizza italiania, mangia qui.

Very authentic
I'm not exactly sure what all the bad buzz is about. When I went on a crowded Friday night we had excellent service and the gnocchi was better than any that I had in Italy. I would definitely go back

A mediocre pizza should no cost $19.00!! I wanted to try this restaurant because it looked cute from the outside, but I was extremely disappointed. Both the food and service were mediocre. I would not go back.

Nice people, but food is not good
I tried two of the pizzas. Crust was good, but everything else was bland. It was almost inedible. Not worth the money. Also tried the ricotta dessert. It tasted like there were 5 cups of sugar in it. I took one bite and left the rest. Very sad. Nice service and people though.
