    Not recommended

I'm astounded to read that people like this food. The fact that food like this can exist in New York City amazes me. Yes, they give you a good sized portion for the price, but does portion-size matter when it's not even worth eating? I got the lasagna just to test the place out. Each layer of pasta was actually 4 layers of pasta, overcooked till it was mush, in between layers of wet gloppy beef soaked in flavorless sauce. I have to assume that anyone who gave this a good review was actually just the "restaurant" owner themselves. I wish I had my $8.95 back. Thanks Frank.

Best Delivery Italian in the hood

I order from Frank's all time time. Always fast delivery, always hot at my door. Damn good food for cheap and speedy delivery. Love this place. Try the Penne Vodka or the Chicken or Eggplant parm.

    Cozy Atmosphere, Great Food

I decided to have lunch with a co-worker there. The restaurant is a wonderful place with a cozy, warm and homey feeling. The atmosphere instantly calms you down as you're about to dine. We shared the small garlic pizza (6 slices enough to feed 2) and I couldn't believe the amount of garlic that was on it. If you're a garlic lover, you MUST try it. The pizza contained basil as well, which adds a nice flavor. I've had their pastas and they're also good, particularly the carbonara sauce and the all nonno. The value is worth what you get. The portions are enough to make you leave with a content stomach.

    Rude Phone Service, Great Pizza

Totally agree. The phone service is awful. An order over the phone is torture...and they make mistakes like crazy. They do however correct them later. The pizza is terrific...worth the effort of going through their phone service.

    What happened?

Used to be a pleasure ordering from Franks. Dealing with rudeness on the phone is not worth it. Recommend owners should be watchful of this. Thank you.

    Terrific Pizza

Yes, I agree with others about the spotty service at Frank's. I rarely eat there, and pretty much have their delivery pizza. That said, the pizza is terrific. the best by far in the neighborhood. One pizza that you need to try is the Garlic Special Pizza. A large is a bargain at $15.50, and a medium is $13.50. This is a perfect pizza. It's a very thin crust pizza with roasted garlic, smoked cheese, and basil. It's unbelievable! This pizza sings to you! It is a little oily, but a pat from a paper towel takes care of that. Ask them to make the crust crispy. It actually reminds me of the great pizza pie slices from my youth...not much different from those regular slices. Delivery has always been within a 1/2 hour. When eating there, the food is good, not great. But they try.
