The reviews on this site are outdated and the restaurant deserves much better! I went here for the first time and was pleasantly surprised by the friendly service! The atmosphere was a bit loud...but it is NYC. The server was kind and very informed about the wine and the menu, her suggestions were great. Food was unbelievable I'm still dreaming about their savory pastas perfectly grilled octopus and fresh and simple salads!! Highly recommend trying the specials the chef knows what he is doing! Give it a shot, you won't be sad you did.

We arrived at an early hour when the restaurant was empty, but the first host ignored us until a hostess arrived to seat us in the most uncomfortable spot in the place--next to the waiter station.I was able to brush off the fact that the wine I ordered was not available, and the food was good, but after the meal the waiter spilled a full water glass on me without apology, or perhaps I failed to hear it since the noise level of the restaurant was now intolerable. The waitress arrived and offered a free dessert in lieu of the accident, but then added the dessert to the bill. Guess I misheard that as well. Careless, reckless staff. I would avoid this place.

I went to Frankie's 570 with 3 of my best friends after previously going to the Brooklyn Mecca this summer. I was unsure what to expect as the atmosphere is very different...but lovely. The music, superb! It was a Saturday night and we were quoted an hour wait, which was fine since there was space at the bar. Their cocktails are killer, well prepared and über boozey made by friendly bar tenders. We were sat within our quote time, and greeted promptly by our waitress. She was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. We got a few salads and crostinis very fresh and tasty. But the pasta is where it's at... Don't leave without getting the cavatelli! Our waitress also recommended the special squid ink fusili they had that night. Delicious (add to menu!) All in all amazing night! Highly recommended for a great and somewhat affordable night

This restaurant looked nice enough, so I was eager to try it. I ordered the House-Made Gnocchi Marinara with fresh ricotta for $15.00 and a glass of Sangiovese. The wine came first - it was cold, straight out of the refrigerator. Almost immediately afterwords came the food. It was unappetizing. The gnocchi was pre-made well in advance, probably frozen. It had a rubbery skin and the inside was tasteless mush. The "fresh ricotta" was a spoonful of cheap mushy cheese, also cold from the refrigerator. I asked for some Parmesan and was given a small dish of powdery cheese, also cold, no doubt straight from the green tube of Kraft cheese that we all remember from childhood. The sauce was watery and tasteless. All in all the most unforgivable meal I've had in years. Don't go under any circumstances!

We've walked by Frankies so many times we decided on a whim to stop for a late nite dinner. What a pleasant surprise! Delicious food and excellent service on a perfect evening to eat outside. Kudos to our waiter and the manager for an outstanding evening.

Food not up to par. Average food and poor service. The "Frankie's" chain have really gone downhill. Sooooo not worth it.

I liked Frankies 570. The food was good, not great but good. The service was good. But it's loud. So loud that I felt like I was screaming the whole meal so my dinner companions could hear me, and I felt like it was a struggle to hear them. I'd go back, except for the noise.
