    loooved it!

finally went last night... excellent lobster, both steamed and broiled. great apps, great steak. menu will cater to meat eaters and seafood lovers b/c of a huge selection. quality lobster was well priced. service was FAST and attentive! quickly after being seated, we were served a huge bowl of complimentary salad (quickly refilled as well), apps, drinks, meals, dessert- all great and arrived exactly as ordered all well timed. atmosphere- not fancy, but good, comfy old ny feel. can't wait to go back!

    Simply Delicioso

So I have to say I went here for the first time two weeks ago for my wife birthday. I was pleasantly surprised to see a tast of old New York. This place has great food and a good atmosphere. We had 3 lb lobsters at an excellent price. If you go you must try their flan its simply delicioso... I gotta say Francisco's made my wife happy and my wallet even happier.

    Classic and Great

I understand that some of the review say that the service is slow but what do you want when everything is cooked to order? The reviewers that say that the food was tasteless...it's not mexican food with a lot of hot spices. This is a very fine easy place to eat. It is LOUD but the food is great and very authentic. I grew up eating at this place and I love everyone that I have taken to this places comes back on their own. My picks are any of the rice dishes. I just wish they did delivery. Right now they only do take out. Oh, the portions are huge...share or ask for a doggie bag and enjoy the next day!

    SO Disappointing

Wow, was this a disappointing dinner! My friend and I decided to splurge and celebrate the New Year on a lobster. We had heard this was the place to go...what a mistake! We started with shrimp in garlic sauce as an appetizer, which we've had many times at other Spanish restaurants...usually a garlic and oil base with shrimp, scampi style. This came out in a thick yellow, unappetizing sauce, which we promptly advised was not what we had expected and sent back. Okay, on to the lobster. The tail meat was completely mushy....not good at all. The claws weren't a lot better, but the mushiness of the tail actually made me nauseous so I wasn't really up for the rest of it at that point anyway. To charge $50 for a lobster that's mushy and tasteless is a crime. I won't ever go back.

    We love it every time!

We go at least 2x a year traveling downtown from Northern Westchester. We pre plan it so we go with at least 3 couples. Usually we try and make it a birthday or anniversary. We always order a pitcher or s2 of either the red or white sangria. Also we always order lobster. I don't know how anyone can say anything negative about this place. It's great!!!

    Good eats

4 of us, went around 3pm for a late lunch. Ordered the Francisco's Special (lobster & crab with Spanish cheese), Seafood Paella, and twin lobsters, along with the potato crisps. Sangria and a Virgin Pina Colada for drinks. Good size portions, food was fresh and Delicious. Drinks were okay. Prices were good for NYC. At 3pm, it was desolate, but by 5pm, it was packed. Def. recommend going early. If your driving, use Icon Parking across the street and get your receipt validated at the restaurant, it'll cost you 5 bucks to park (left around 5pm). Can't beat that. All together it was worth the trip.

    Not recommended

Read the review below, so went the other day with a group of 6. Mussels as appetizers was not fresh. Then we ordered Seafood Paella, Paella Veniciana, Zarzuela De Mariscos Catalana, Shrimp Scampi, Chinken & Lobster Mediterranea. All the mentioned dish was just okay. The Chicken was dry. The lobster was flavorless. The Sangria was too diluted. The place is sooooo loud. The minute I got in there, I aldy wanted to leave. The service is soooooo slow. We waited almost 30 mins to get the main course. All in all, totally disappointed!
