    Would not recommend

I had the spaghetti alla carbonara and it came as dry, oily noodles with over cooked egg and under cooked bacon and no parmesan cheese. It was literally inedible. I paid $16 dollars for eggs and bacon mixed in pasta. Wow. Would not recommend to my worst enemy.

    Service Issues

I ordered from this place through an online delivery site. Most restaurants have no problem delivering in a timely manner through this site but Francesco's always seems to take a while. The absolute last time I ordered from here I waited 45 minutes before I called the restaurant & asked them what was going on with my order. They said they had a lot of orders to fill. I asked them why they didn't call to let me know there'd be a delay. They said they get "hundreds of orders" & they can't call everybody to let them know if there's a delay. When the order finally came instead of giving me the receipt with the agreed upon price from the online site they tried to give me another receipt with a much larger price than the one I agreed to pay. When I called them to ask them about the increased price they left me on hold. I finally hung up after being left on hold for more than 3 minutes & paid the new price. I kept giving them chances to redeem themselves but their service & attitude keeps getting worse & worse. Their food isn't that great either. I once ordered a rice ball from them & I don't know what the hell they sent me but it wasn't like any rice ball I've ever had before. It was soggy & tasted bad.

    Not impressed

I was over at a friend's house and she suggested that we order in from here. When she showed me the menu and I saw the ridiculously high prices, I could not believe my eyes. In order to avoid going broke, I said that we should get pizza, which, was a reasonable price compared to everything else. The pizza was delivered in a timely manner but they did not send any plates, napkins etc. or anything else that a good take out place should know to send when they make a delivery. All that came was the box of pizza. Not impressed at all.

I ordered a well-done large pie with mushrooms on the whole pie, onions on half, and goat cheese instead of mozzarella. After prompting an entire conversation between the order taker and his manager, he said they don't have goat cheese. I reminded them of their I Love Lucy pizza that is all goat cheese, and after I agreed to pay more for the special request, he said ok, correctly repeated my order back to me, and we hung up. Thirty minutes later, we receive a pepperoni pie, half mushrooms all mozzarella and no goat cheese. Undercooked. And a side of pesto?? Last time Francesco's is getting business from us!

Ordered a mushroom pizza. Delivery person showed up, was annoyed to wait for the money and his tip. Opened the pizza, half the cheese was off the pizza and the pie looked like it had been soaked in water. Called to complain and they said it was because they use fresh mushrooms. They sent a new pizza back (which was ok, but undercooked) and actually took the bad half of the original pizza back to store. Used to love this place, but after this service and experience, will never eat here again.

    Good Pizza! Reasonable atmosphere.

This is a pretty standard neighborhood restaurant, if you eat in. I brought some friends from out of town here and the waiter was accommodating and attentive. I typically order and pick up the food, although my experience with the delivery staff was positive on the couple of times I couldn't be bothered to walk to the restaurant. The pizza itself is good! The crust is different from most of the neighborhood joints I've enjoyed, and I feel it is both of higher quality and more delicious than bog-standard NY Pizza. The ingredients are of good quality and they seem to be reasonable about quantity. Price is reasonable too. All in all, I'm happy with them. Bill
