Enjoyed it
I eat Francesci's all the time when I do the night-shift at work. Some of the entre's are a little overpriced, but the food itself is great. I've tried a few of their menu items but my favorite item is the Penne Con Pollo y Broccolli, with a side of steamed spinach. The portion side is very good and also comes with the extra's like bread. The meal was well season and still very hot ny the time it was delivered. Also, anytime I ask for something specific like a slice of lemon on the side, they make sure and do it without any complaint. I think Francesco's is a great place to get a more than reasonable plate of Italian food. They do a great job!

Below average pizza
The prior description of his pie as "thoroughly pedestrian" is apt. This pie is like any typical pizza only one of the less tasty ones you will come across. As an italian I find it hard to believe their chef is an experienced cook from italy as the mesage on this site claims.

Good Hawaiian Pizza
Other reviews for this Francesco's aren't overwhelming, so was going to opt for another place but it wouldn't deliver to me. Called Francesco's instead. Verdict: friendly and helpful on the phone, quick delivery (took about 20 mins), delivery guy was friendly as well, pizza tastes great and just what I wanted - nice and crispy base, tasty ingredients - and price is reasonable. I recommend this place. It does what it says on the tin. Cheers.

Not bad, not great, just ok
We were heading to a bar in the area and wanted a good place to grab something quick to eat before we went. I’d read good things about Francescos and it was nearby so off we went. It was pretty much just a standard neighbourhood pizza place, with a couple of tables in the front if you want to sit in (which is what we did). We ordered pasta primavera and a Hawaiian pie with cheese garlic bread. The pasta was really nice. My husband declined the offer of bread to accompany it but afterwards thought that actually bread would have been perfect the mop up the oily sauce with. His only complaint was that the peas tasted canned. The pie was massive and tasted just ok - there was too much cheese and not enough sauce for my liking so it became very sickening after a couple of slices. The cheese garlic bread was delicious though. It’s decent value too and the guy behind the counter was very friendly. If I lived in the area I would maybe drop in every now and then to pick up a slice or some pasta but I wouldn’t make a trip there specially when there are places that serve better (and cheaper) pizza all over Manhattan. It was a nice place though.

Uh? Really?
Not sure what pizza planet the other writers live on, but the slice I had was thoroughly pedestrian...

great sauce
i ordered something that came w/ pasta and i was surprised by how fresh and delicious the sauce is. something as simple as marinara is often overlooked by many pizza places, but not here.
