The pulled pork sandwich (heated) was wonderful: crusty bread, tasty pork and whatever else was in the sandwich was just perfect. Couldn't stop with that so had a chocolate almond croissant, which I usually buy from La Bergamote, but this was very good too. Glad to see they are on Bway and 57 and 58. The place was very clean, not much atmosphere but loved the food and will go back and eat there again until I've sampled all the items that look so tempting.

Found the croissant to be a little dry.. too delicate, not moist enough.

So happy to have Payard back in action. Always was my go-to place if needed to bring a dessert to friends. Pricey - but I'm willing to pay. Agree with previous post - policies are alittle stiff.

The food is good, but the prices are sky high. They're too cheap to supply jam with their croissants. That's an extra charge. That really bugs me. Not sure if it's worth it.

We were so excited to hear that M. Payard's creations were, once again, available to us! The croque monsieur was the absolute best we've ever had. Will go back for other delights!!

I was so excited when I read about the opening of the new Payard on Houston street. I stopped by in the morning and bought an almond croissant for breakfast and a slice of the hazelnut cake for later. I couldn't resist and ate the cake as a mid-morning snack - it was delicious! While I was there they were sampling bread. I put the chocolate from the squeeze tube on it - so much fun and delicious! I can't wait to go back and try more of the cakes.
