I'm picky with Chinese food. This place doesn't suck but it is what it looks like. They are named Fortune Cookie Chinese Kitchen, and imagine my disappointment when I received no cookie or fortune.

food was great! chicken was actually cooked in the sauce(unlike Chinese musician where they just throw it on top) everything tasted awesome and they gave lots of fortune cookies. recommend it!

I am visiting my son from Uk and decided on a takeaway meal. The service was express, I was amazed with the speed of delivery . The Lo Mein dish that I ordered was exquisite and reminiscent of the food that I tasted in South east Asia .I strongly recommend this takeaway and will certainly be using them again before I return home.

I have never had a bad experience here, ever, and I've been getting this food at least once a week for years now!You don't go to eat here; the place is just a counter with a few tables and no atmosphere at all. Just call them for pick up or delivery, and if you have called them before chances are they already know where you live, and what you want. The food is excellent, every time. The ingredients always taste fresh, the beef and chicken are tender (unlike at most chinese restaurants) and all their dishes are flavored perfectly.

When picking up from this place it doesn't look like much, it has a very basic dining area. However if you want to stay at home and order in delicious fast Chinese food this is the place! I have ordered from Fortune Cookie many many times and the food is always at the door with in 15 minuets. I highly recommend fortune cookie to anyone looks for fast, quality, in-expensive Chinese food!!!

What appears to be an inconspicuous Chinese Take Out joint in the Polish enclave of Greenpoint is actually a gastronomic gem offering up several pleasant surprises. First of all, they don't have a 50 page delivery menu which always reassures me that they're focusing on quality and not quantity (after all, how can any restaurant with a 100 item menu make any single thing good?). Second of all, they're food is actually quite delicious. Having ordered from there several times and having ordered different dishes each time, I have to say their track record is remarkably good. I've never had a bad experience with them. The prices are well reasonable also. But perhaps the biggest surprise about Fortune Cookie is their automated delivery tracking system. You order from them once and they have you in their database. The next time you pick up the phone, they have all the information they need saving the hassle of repeating endless strings of digits and letters. This is by far the best Chinese food in this neighborhood even given the very basic choices on the menu.

The food is pretty good here in SI, though a little on the greasy side. It's also a bit pricey for large servings, and delivery is only within ten blocks; a lot of people don't know about it. The establishment itself is pretty bland, from the color scheme to the sparce seating, but they specialze in take-out, and not many people are ever in there. They're quick to serve, put everything you need [sauces, fortune cookies, mustard, etc] in there without you needing to ask.They make a mean egg roll too, and free [hot] tea!
