Kinda Good, Kinda Not Good
Came for a casual dinner with friends. I had the watermelon margarita - it was too sweet and completely vacant of alcohol (it was 9pm, I hadn't eaten since before 8am jog and I'd spent the whole day walking the Met - I should have been loopy after one drink). The waitress recommended a different drink, which was good, but again no alcohol - what am I paying $12 for? Juice? To eat we had the haloumi salad and steak panini. The haloumi wasn't charred or even warm, but the salad was overall good. The steak panini was delicious and it came with a side of frites, also good. The bar is very small and crowded - I bailed on the evening after an hour for feeling claustrophobic. Our waitress was constantly trying to up-sell us, which was annoying, but overall prompt and attentive service. I'd go back for a bite, but not a drink.
