I went to Footprints for lunch yesterday (Father's Day), they were totally under staff. I was shocked at the service we experienced, the food was cold. One couple next to me waited 45mins for services, the waitress came over at least 5 times to ask if they were ok, and each time he said NO, and she didn't get it. You need more servers, plus the Host at the door can be of service, like cleaning and setting up the tables for the next guest instead of waiting for someone else to do it. I don't see team work at this establishment. We had drinks at the bar while we were waiting to be seated, the woman that serve us the drinks was unpleasant. Its obvious Customer Service needs to be stepped up in your establishment.

I live out of state and wanted to surprise my Godmother with lunch because I couldn't be there to take her out for her birthday personally. A friend of mine suggested take- out from the Footprints on Surf. The staff delivered a variety of entrées; to include crab cakes, (my friend's favorite) and numerous other goodies to my Godmother in less than an hour, and even sang happy birthday! This really made her day! It is the little extras that make a community business a neighborhood friend. You can’t put a price on that kind of service. Word of mouth is the very best marketing so spread the word. Special thanks to David and Alfredo for orchestrating this special request.

I will definitely be returning. The band was good; a little loud but the food and drinks were very good.

I am a frequent vistor at footprints cafe. I used to visit the calendon lounge but due to it always being crowded and waits ridiculously long we started patronizing coney island. On my last visit the service was poor. The waiter didnt come over until about 20 mins into us sitting down. He finally came over and greeted us. He then left and spent another 30 mins before he came over to take our drink order. He spent about 20 mins to bring two drinks. By the time our food arrived we had already been there at least an hour and a half. When the food finally came the order was not correct. Very disappointed. We dined in the outside area and was completely isolated from the entertainment going on outside because they kept the doors shut. I used to visit footprints at least every weekend for the food and atmosphere but i am going to be looking for another spot to frequent if their service doesn't get better.

I went here last night for a birthday party, and the service was just bad. it was downhill from the time we arrived-- even with a confirmed reservation, we waited 15 minutes to be seated. after an hour, we got our drinks (just sprite and water), and another hour to get our appetizers and entrees. we asked for the check early on, but wound up getting it hours later, even after asking for it numerous times. when the check finally came, it included a hefty 17% gratuity, of which the waiter was completely undeserving. all in all, we were there for a grand total of four hours. we even lost our ride home. if you go to Footprints, plan to stay a while.

I love their food. I wish there was a Footprints in Harlem!
