Foodswings is the best plce to go for fried "chicken". The food is delicious, the people are nice, and, let's face it, the place is awesome.

The counter girl was chowing down while taking our order. The food is always a good chemical vegan fix. I recommend the wings.

I swear this place has gotten better since the new owners took over. I like the new paint job, chalkboard walls MUCH better than their hideous old color scheme. EAT THE DRUMSTICKS, that's all you need to know. Moist, juicy, delicious, great BBQ sauce. I like their fries, too, nice & crisp. To the person who complained about bland mac'n'cheese, it's Vegan, what did you expect?

there is only counter service at foodswings, it's like mcdonald's in that way. the food is def better for you than mcdonald's but I don't know by how much since a lot of it is fried. I love the fried stuff. they do have salads too though. salads are for chicks though. I like the southern fried drumsticks and the french fries are slammin and so are the SHAKES! oh and there is a bathroom, maybe there wasn't but there is now.

I'm not sure what another reviewer was talking about as they deliver to my place 12 blocks away. the food is awesome, although it can be not that consistent, depending on who's in the kitchen that day. however the french fries are ALWAYS amazing and I really enjoy the new version of the mac and cheese, as well as the new lunch stuff (they just started opening during the day recently). some new people took over for 2009 and I've noticed a lot of improvements in the food quality. the drumsticks are to die for as always and there's homemade stuff on the menu now, like chili and a sausage and peppers hero that my BF is wild about. even my non vegetarian friends love them. def check it out if you're in the hood & it's worth a trip even if you are not. not sure what's up with the haters. ;P

I'm a sucker for vegan fast food. I crave Foodswings' sandwiches day and night. Especially the Filet O Soul and the Chicken Bacon Ranch Sandwich. But it irritates me to no end that they do not deliver beyond a 5 block radius! I live less than a mile away. Every other restaurant in Williamsburg delivers to my apartment. Even restaurants twice as far away. I curse their name every time I want delivery (which is almost every night since I don't have a stove in my apartment). If everything on their menu were a buck cheaper it would be worth my walk over there but alas I order from Wild Ginger again. Where else can I get faux chicken nuggets delivered right to my door?

I thought that I'd burned off my taste buds from smoking too many cigarettes, but it turned out the food is just flavorless because it doesn't have anything awesome in it. I ordered mac and cheese and hardly ate it. I wanted to ask for my money back, but the counter person disappeared when I tried to.
