Disappointed
Came here expecting something great based on the other reviews on this site but was seriously disappointed. Cold sesame noodles were extremely heavy and greasy, and sesame sauce tasted suspiciously like a cheap stick of butter. Hot and spicy shrimp was mild at best, and while the shrimp was not offensive, it was certainly not fresh either. Dish was also almost entirely comprised of mediocre "filler" vegetables (onion, green pepper) with only a few shrimp thrown in.

Best Chinese Take-Out.
Ever. Ingredients always taste fresh, and the food doesn't seem as heavy and saucy as other Chinese places. Chicken Chow Fun is my fav. Delivery is always fast. I am moving away from Park Slope, and I am so bummed to lose this place! Do it.

Best take out Chinese food in NYC
This is by far the best Chinese take out food I've come across in all of NYC. From their previous location across the street to now, this place has been top notch. Extremely friendly staff from the cashier to the delivery man. Oh, and their Plain Lo Mein is ridiculously addictive. The food is far above "take out" standards.

Great Cheap Eats, Not Too Oily Like Some Chinese Joints
Their former incarnation, Food Chow, was a great place for cheap, tasty fast food. Now as Food Lin, it's still a great deal. Typical Chinese takeout joint, but atypical in that the quality and freshness of the food really stand out. So thrilled to find a place that knows how to blanch vegetables to a crisp, bright green without overcooking them to brown death. Also, their sauteed dishes aren't over-oily or "greasy" like the dishes are at other Chinese restaurants. The service here is also very friendly. Happily a repeat customer.

Same people who use to own food chow. They just moved across the street.
