No More
First, please look at the dates of previous reviews. Since then, quality service has been "exchanged" for incompetence. They can no longer get the simplest of orders correct. Not to mention food quality. If an item you ordered is no longer available, they will substitute it with what they feel is equivalent to it, without your permission. Don't try to order the same sandwhich more than once, as it will probably not be as good as the first time. Please, will someone show them what scrambled eggs looks like so that they can either take that option off of the menu if they do not know how to make it, or actually scramble, and not fry the eggs. While waiting for my order, I watched them take orders from people, and no matter how you ask to have your eggs prepared, they were all fried the same way. For convenience, they get top rating, but I'd rather wait longer for delivery, or walk a block or two, as this is midtown and selection is vast.

Go to Spot
Almost every lunch spot in Midtown now offers the "Make your own Salad" option but I find this one to be the best!! They do not charge per ingrediant so you can get as many veggies as you want. You can call ahead and my giant 10lb salad always costs me $8. Fresh ingrediants and options keep me coming back at least once a wk!

$5.99 for an egg & cheese on a roll
I went on Sunday around 1pm and the woman at the register charged me $5.99 for a scrambled egg and cheese on a roll. I tried to argue but to no avail. I was so hungry that I paid. And it tasted fine, like a regular egg & cheese. But 6 bucks? Ridiculous. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Cheaper prices in house
I was surprised to realize that when I go to the store on Broadway and 38th, that the make your own salad prices are cheaper. I won't order online again from them.

Won't go back
2 good things about the food exchange- good prices and good food. Big and bad thing about the food exchange- it will take over an hour for your food to arrive, even if youre 4 blocks away like i am or place a small order like i did - one drink, one fruit salad and an omelet. no joke. this has happened to me a few times and today it happened again, which was the last straw.

Amazing Value and Freshest Ingredients
Let me start by saying that with a name like Food Exchange, it really didn't appeal to me when my boss asked if I'd like to go there. But to my pleasant surprise, it is amazing! There are so many choices for sandwiches, lots of wraps, things in whole-wheat pitas, on focaccia. Their soups are very good. They always have chili and chicken noodle and Tuscan Vegetable, everything else rotates. They have these really yummy Wild Mushroom Quesadillas that are to die for. They have personal pizzas. Their salad bar is amazing! You get your choice of field greens or spinach, then one meat topping, one cheese type topping, then unlimited veggies. For $6.99 for a small and only $7.99 for a large, it's unbeatable for this area of town. Sometimes I just go and get the large for lunch and save half for dinner. They also have a large selection of entrees daily. You have a choice of one Meat item and then any two sides, ranging from french cut green beans, to penne with vodka. If you have not been there, you MUST go!! It is the best deal for the money in any part of the city ,but especially the pricey east midtown area.
