The unattractive interior and hectic atmosphere are nearly outweighed by the satisfaction that seems to emanate from each customer. I was struck by how much everyone seemed to be enjoying their food. My girlfriend and I split two dishes: the famous chicken with plaintains and the beef stew. Both were excellent. The stew is a surprising variation on the Dinty Moore style, consisting of large chunks of beef and potatoes in a thick, green cilantro sauce. Try it!

I have to agree as well. This place is fantastic. The Pollo a la Brasa is a staple Sunday night order at my place. The red beans and plantains and everything spanish is wonderful. Never ate any chinese so I can't comment. Also, the atmosphere there has a lot to be desired. Very loud. But I can't get enough of the food.

Just had to add my two cents here, because I absolutely love this place and need to disagree with a previous reviewer. The Specialty Chicken is incredible. In fact the place was recommended to me by a friend from Peru specificly for the chicken dish. I have always found it to be extrememly juicy and flavorful and the hot sauce they serve with it is out of this world! Last time I was there I even ordered a container of the hot sauce to go. Truth is I haven't tried much else there because I always go there for the chicken, but I have had the papa rellena appetizer and that was delicious as well. Reminded me of my trip to Peru.

Some of the offerings are flavorful - just avoid the duck with brown sauce. Also, don't get their specialty chicken unless you don't mind dry white meat.

I think the food is great....the service is good. The people are polite and speedy. The prices are at a range that everyone can afford. The atmosphere is not so good because the place is small and its like your in every ones conversation.
