brunch
Brunch was excellent! Went late saturday so virtually empty, atmosphere quaint and service ok. My daughter and I had croque madam with salad and bloody mary's. It was delicious and very satisfying. Can't beat the $11.95 price and additional drinks only $5. Will definitely go back, this is my new French affordable bistro.

Delicious mussels and fries
Very pleasantly surprised. I have been to this place once and thought the food is not memorable; however, I returned there a few months back and had the most fantastic mustard mussels with french fries! We had two orders. Nice selection of wines and not too pricy. Definitely a recommended French spot.

Great food, wine, atmosphere by the park
No fuss, friendly and tasty. Early dinner or afternoon is best. Good Thompkins Square Park people watching spot. Try vegetarian cous cous and Cote de Rhone. You'll be happy.

Maitre-d issue
We had just finished dinner, chose not to order desert, so our check was brought to the table. We were told by the Maitre-d that we should finish our drinks at the bar since, "he had so many people waiting for a table". Our dinner lasted less than 1 hour so his remark was uncalled for.

Paris in New York
Highly recommend. The atmosphere and service was great. The french onion soup was classic, our main dish, dessert and wine were all quite nice. We felt like we were in Paris again. This is a find.

dry and tasteless duck confit
I'm not sure how on earth they managed to make something that's cooked in it's own fat bone dry and tasteless, but they did. I was really disappointed. The salads we had were good and so was desert, the place is cute and service fine but main courses left a lot to be desired.
