Solid
The service was very good the food was fine for the kind of place this is. I'd go back to see if their other stuff is any good.

Have some beef with your salt
I have been to this restaurant several times and loved it. However, this place has gone seriously downhill. You could not even taste the grass fed steak only the salt. The sea bass's after taste wasn't good. I hope it was just an off night. It is such a great space.

Solid
Went on a Saturday night for dinner to catch up with some friends, we were 2 couples and shared all the dishes some highlights were the cavatelli, pizzette (surprised by that one), duck prosciutto, the Tuna and Duck mains. The place was absolutely packed and I didn't really mind because the waiter managed to stay attentive and the ambiance had a good energy going, plus the design/decor of the place is wonderful for Autumn. This place achieves what it aspires to be. It's Eclectic with good quality and good looking. Totally enjoyed it.

Best Brunch in the city
Best Brunch in the city. The Sangria is delicious. The lemon riccotta pancakes are light & flavorful. The banana french toast is like dessert. The bacon comes as ordered and is not salt-laden. The mac & cheese is a model for all mac & cheese, the best around! The service cannot be beat, everyone from the front to the waitstaff is very nice and knock themselves out. You want cheaper? Yes there are cheaper brunchs, but not better.

Overrated
My wife and I have been here twice for brunch just to give them a second chance. The service stinks and the food is only so so. We had to ask for bread, and then got a platter of croissant, scones, etc. that was $10 on the menu - NOT what we asked for - we told the waiter and he took it away - and then we waited and waited - three of the four of us got our drinks, our DIL's hot chocolate not arriving. I finally went to the manager to ask for the bread and he asked if we had asked our server - UH, yeah, like twice. So we get the bread - still no hot chocolate. Two tables next to ours got their food and we did not - and still no hot chocolate. Finally we had our food served AND the hot chocolate. My burger, ordered medium, was RARE. My wife suggested sending it back - I said forget it. We left little tip and would no trecommend this place - nothing special, lousy service, indifferent management.,

Waiter & Outdoor Hostess Issues
I went here a few nights ago with a friend, because we had heard so many good things about Five Points. First I will say the food was great, good wine selection, good dessert, atmosphere was great too. NOW with that being said, service stunk! We didn't have a reservation, so we waited outside of the restaurant thinking the outdoor hostess would ask us if we we there for dinner. We stood outside for a good 10 minutes, waiting to see if she would acknowledge us, not at all. She must have walked by us at 4 four times, finally we decided to just go in ourselves. Once we were inside, we approached the indoor reservationist and asked if we could get a table, she said sure "no problem" she was very nice, she had us seated promptly. Once seated our waiter stunk. He took our order, our food was served in a decent amount of time, after serving us, he never, not once asked us if everything was okay, or asked if we wanted refills on our drinks, completely forgot about us, the water guy was more accomodating and friendly than our waiter. After doing everything short of tackling him down to ask for our check, we payed the check and left. We walked away that night feeling that because of our clueless and careless waiter, it took away from our dining experience. Me and my friend both agreed that we would go back, but insist that we don't get him as our waiter.
