two strikes and you're out
The smell of stale cooking oil should have warned us, but the kids wanted to go. Not open a year and sloppy, sloppy, sloppy. The buns were stacked on a griddle but not toasted. They ended up mushy. Asked for a cheeseburger and saw the "cook" run a slice of American over the grill while the burger was cooking - ugh. The fries we got were oily and cold - took them back. Way too expensive for a low quality burger that's sloppily cooked and they couldn't care less. Not going back no matter what anybody says.

Want some burger with your grease?
Went to 5 Guys hoping for something like an East Coast rendition of In'n'Out burger, but basically got a high priced rendition of MacDonalds. Their burgers are nothing special, small (even though they are doubles, their two patties is still smaller than a normal sized single burger...probably because all the fat melts away when they are cooked on their high school cafeteria "grill"), and expensive (7 bucks for a cheeseburger, before you order fries and a drink). They give you more than enough fries (about twice as much food as contained in the burger), but they're pretty soggy and also greasy. You're much better off going to another restaurant and getting a burger and fries, paying the same amount, and getting more bang for your buck (and less grease).

Love 5 Guys
Everything is made to order ... I believe they are the best burger you are going to find. You can get a great variety of toppings you won't find at other burger places. I have been here a few times & it has yet to disappoint. Plus the fries are great!!!! Lots of em and they are fresh & hot.

best cheeseburger ever!
Five Guys has the best cheeseburger above all and by a long shot. The french fries are delicious as well and I highly recommend you give it a try. I know I will be a returning customer!

good burgers at a decent price
I would like to preface this review by letting the reader know that I am not going to unfairly review five guys due to my bad day, or my crappy husband, or my kids running around the house screaming. I realize it's easy to take out the stresses of our everyday lives on a faceless establishment, but believe it's extremely unfair to allow emotions to seep into these reviews, which they obviously are. Five Guys is a burger chain. It's an establishment based around providing fast and good burgers at a decent price. Not only does it do that well, but there are also many delightful perks, such as the big box of free peanuts customers can munch on while their burger is being prepared for them (right in front of them), a huge selection of toppings, and ample, comfortable seating for the customers. Oh yeah, and free refills. Nice.
