Give it until Spring
Whoever is complaining about the food is a snob. Just under $6 gets you two patties and free toppings on a potato roll. The fries are boardwalk fries, and priced reasonably. Plus, free peanuts while you wait for your food. They have a lot of kinks. Breaks in the food-making chain, some odd issues requiring management supervision, and an unprofessional staff. I saw all this in one 15 minute visit. They're new, so some of it is acceptable. If they can get their act together, they'll be a great midtown joint to get a simple burger. But for now, I suggest you avoid large orders or quick lunches with them.

Great Burgers (Not for the Snobby)
I'm baffled by these negative reviews... If you want a steakhouse burger... go elsewhere. If you want the all-american classic in all it's drippy, sloppy, glory go to Five guys. Fries are fresh cut and cooked in peanut oil (Ocean City style). There's zero atmosphere and service has been shoddy at most of the FG's I've visited, but the burgers and fries are sublime. Suck it up, wait in line, thank me later.

Not worth it...
Went on a Saturday to avoid the crush of a weekday. There 8 people working behind the counter, and about that many customers, but it still took a good ten-fifteen minutes. Fine, I rather fresh than pre-made. I got a burger and a cheeseburger (4 patties total). It cost me $14 and I have room for dessert. I am not a big guy but the burgers are that small. There is nothing - and I mean nothing - remarkable about the meat. It is nice that a lot of toppings are free but that may be the only redeeming quality. As someone said below, you can get much better burgers without any of the hoopla or wait. I have found that with recent prices at diners, pubs and chain places, your best $ for a burger is at a good steak place. Burger will set you back about $13-14, but you will be full and it will be awesome. Fries looked good but I skipped them. Should have gotten them.

Not only is this place awesome but addictive, be careful. Great burgers, even better fries give it a try.

5 guys get 5 byes
Midly decent food, poor service. Five guys went to "five guys" and found it to be very unsatisfying. Overpriced for such small portions. Extremely short menu selection (burgers, mini burgers, and hot dogs.) Long lines with an even longer wait for food. And to boot... we all left there smelling like a cheap onion ring. Overall a 1 out of 10 for a decent burger. If you want my opinion... you can get a much better burger at a sit down restaurant for the same price.
