My son saw this place on the news. Drove to the city from Long Island. We had a great time. The owner and waitstaff were very friendly. The food was very fresh and good. Overall a fun experience.

Arguably one of the best seafood spots in the city. If you're willing to overlook the dive bar atmosphere, you're definitely in for a treat. I was just in for dinner on Sunday night (the place was surprisingly packed) and literally everything we ordered, from the oysters to the steamers, and king crab legs. To top it all off they had a lobster mac and cheese that was incredibly well seasoned and had a nice amount of lobster chunks in it. I'm not going to lie, the meal was a little of the pricey side, but that can no doubt be expected given the high quality of the seafood.

This is an excellent restaurant! They were super accommodating and nice. It's cosy and sweet. We loved the photos on the wall. The food was beyond delicious. The staff were super friendly. I'd definitely go back!

Place is great if you are not an uptight white table cloth snob. If you are a "Village" person you will love it. Expensive but not over priced The west coast oysters are superb as well as the seafood chowder. Although portions are smallish the fish is very fresh. I prefer this place to the Pearl OYster bar although I have no complaits about the Pearl Oyster Bar.

I've been going to fish for 3 years now, and never been disappointed. The Red, White, and Blue special is the best deal in Manhattan. 1/2 doz blue points and a beer (or wine) for 8 bucks? You've got to be kidding me. I went in for oysters over the weekend and found out about the 1/2 price lobster feast ($19). To top it off you can add additional lobsters for 12 bucks apiece. Bit of a salty ambiance, which is fitting. Service is friendly and attentive. Don't miss it!

came here in between seeing two film forum movies because the lines at the good pizza places were too long. Saw the half price lobster special on the chalkboard, saw there were some happy people in there and decided to take the chance. The lobsters were yummy and the french fries that came on the plate were superb, it would have been worthwhile to come for the fries even if there were no lobster. We ordered spinach with garlic and that was outstanding too. The service was friendly. Casual, barlike atmosphere. A fine pick if you are in the vicinity.

1st thing we noticed, was a 15% price increase across the board. I had the new england clam chowder, she had the fish soup. the clam chowder was watery and the potatoes were under cooked. The quality of the clam was acceptable but i was overall underwhelmed. The fish soup base had a tangy bite but she certainly wasn't wowed by it. Stick with the fried foods here.
