    Great Burger

We ordered delivery. The person taking my order was very courteous and double checked our order and asked twice if it was ok to charge X amount on my card. The delivery came in about 10-15 minutes and was hot and delicious. I got a regular burger and my wife had a veggie burger - both were great. Guacamole was a little watery but tasty. The only thing that I didn't like was the 'slaw- just a weird consistency. Over all, a great Saturday night meal. We'll order from them again.

Yummy, just don't order in the rain

I get delivery from Firehouse on a regular basis. It's good, not great, but reliable and never bad, especially for pub grub to eat at home. Great fries and passable Tex-Mex. As I type this I have been waiting over an hour for a delivery that, when I ordered it, was scheduled to come in "30-40 minutes, but it's slow, so probably more like 30." I called to ask where my food is, and the cheerful but defensive woman on the phone told me a rush of orders must have come in at the same time and that it'd be 10-15 minutes longerwithout even checking on my order. She also immediately offered to transfer me to the manager. That's a lot of CYA for a chicken sandwich, and it was all about their rush of orders, not my satisfaction. I guess Firehouse is a fair-weather friend.

    Good Buffalo Wings

Wings here are the closest to real Buffalo wings that you will get in NYC.

    Rockin food!

The wings here are 1,000,000 on a scale of 1-10! Great food and great people!

    Whatever

I tried this place just because I heard the wings were decent and I was looking for an alternative to Blondies on 79th Street. I'd give the wings a 6 on the 1-10 scale. Eight wings for $7 is not worth it. The hottest wings they serve are not really hot at all and were actually pretty dry. The blue cheese dressing was cheap. The sound system at the place is not good. Service was good though. The only reason Firehouse gets even a six is because their competition other than Blondie's is so bad.

    Good food Bad TVs

The food is pretty good for pub food and I would definitey recommend the nachos. In terms of watching a game there are much better sport bars in the city, especially in the UES. The tv's are pretty poor when compared to other sport bars and they really need to get rid of the big projection tv which was probably very modern in the late 80's.
