    Friendly all the way

I am a Firehouse regular and the service is the best I've ever gotten. The staff are so happy to see me and call me by my name. The bartender is especially friendly, attentive, and just happy to be at work; which makes me enjoy my meal. The wings are really the best in town and the decor is just so nice to look at. There are several TV's so you are sure not to miss a second of the football game. To those who have had a disappointing experience...I am really surprised because I come every week...sometimes more and they are always the same friendly gracious people. I will come for as long as it's open!

    Love the 'house

My wife, six year-old son and myself come here every Friday evening and love it. The waitresses and manager have become friends to us and we are well taken care of. Wings are delicious, burgers big and sloppy (which is my thing) and the vibe is very welcoming. Very kid friendly. And the brownie sundae is delicious. Wouldn't miss a Friday night at the Firehouse for anything!

Looking for a place to watch sports with a beer and good food?........you search is over

I'm not sure about the other people who went to Firehouse and have had a bad experience but the several times I've been there I've been impressed. The wings with blue cheese dip and celery and carrots are my favorite and I love to go there for ball games with my buddies to grab a beer or two. I also come with my wife and kids too. I've been coming for years and I highly recommend this place

    My Favorite Cheese Burger

I love these burgers. Honest and beefy, and a generous quantity of really great quality cheddar cheese. And the kitchen is willing to serve it truly rare. The menu here is limited, but it's all very well done. Good nachos, good wings, good burritos, OK pizza. I do agree that the beer list could be more interesting -- I usually have the Woodchuck cider, but some craft brews would make it more appealing.

don't waste your money or time

Worst place in town....food was awful, and the service was worst. The waitress chastised the table for sitting there too long and not ordering enough food.

Not worth it, even with a discount.

I recently dined here after receiving a restaurant.com coupon and was extremely disappointed. First, the positives. The wings, as other reviewers mention, are very good, a rarity for Manhattan. The decor is interesting and it's a plus that they are dog-friendly. Overall, the food is passable, and while the prices aren't too bad they're high for the quality of food they serve. Chicken sandwich is ok but not worth $11. The "steak" quesadilla tastes like pot roast with low-quality jack cheese. My biggest complaint is the service. The two individuals standing at the door didn't greet us, and when we asked for a table for two they didn't hand us menus and just told us to "sit anywhere." As far as the table service goes, I don't expect a waitress to hold a conversation with me, but ours barely greeted us and provided very slow service. When we received our bill we were charged for extra soda. I asked if they charged for refills and the response was "yes." She should have offered up that information when she asked if we wanted a refill, but it wasn't a problem. I was content with her answer, but after she rang up our check she very rudely came back and explained that they give one free refill and charge for the rest. I'm not sure why she needed to get an attitude to explain their ridiculous policy (which I know isn't her decision) but the end of the meal is the worst time to be rude to customers as far as tipping is concerned, something any decent waitress would understand. There are just too many other restaurants in the area to settle for poor service and so-so food. I will not return.
