I am selling my pots & pans
I have lived around the corner from Finnegan's for about 2 years now and only just recently ventured in. What was I waiting for? The open-faced roast beef sandwich is awesome and for the price it doesn't pay to stay home and cook. My friend had a burger that was just as good. I have been here now roughly 8 times in 2 months and cannot see myself stopping anytime soon. This is the best food for the price anywhere in the neighborhood.

Nice cosy place
My wife and I bring our 6 month old here to watch football some sundays. They have good beer prices and tasty pub grub (especially the fries). The staff has always been more than accomodating for the baby (complimentary celery sticks for her to chew) and the crowd of regulars on sundays are friendly as well. Definitely a great place to spend a sunday afternoon!

Great
The food was great. I thought the owner was a doll. I would eat here again in a heart beat. I love their home cooking menu. The drink prices can't be beat.

Lots of fun at Finnegan's Wake...
Awesome service. Cute, traditional pub setting and great tasting food. Def a great hang out with good interpersonal experiences and fun interactions between the colorful staff.

Great food, excellent service
Not only is the food good, but I've paid a lot more for a lot less at many other restaurants in NY. It has a fun atmosphere and the wait staff are the best around. I'd pay more just for the excellent service.

Best Burger in the Neighborhood
You can't beat the burgers at Finnegan's, or the price. It's just a great local pub. The waitstaff is efficient and pleasant, the food is freshly prepared and tasty, their specials are great, and you can walk out of there without mortgaging your car. One downside, as mentioned by a previous reviewer - one of the two owners can be a rather unpleasant man and has no problem screaming at the staff in front of the customers. I prefer going there when the other owner is at the helm.

It's My Second Kitchen
When you don't feel like cooking this is the best place to go! I am addicted to their chicken dishes. The staff is great, I don't even have to tell them my order, I simply have to walk through the door. They are very accomidating if what you want is not on the menu. I love this place! I wish there were more like them, but then I guess it wouldn't be special!
