    So disappointed

Had dinner there with a friend last week. I stopped going to this restaurant several years ago because I thought it was overpriced and inconsistent. My last dinner there was a terrible eggplant parmesan - looked and tasted as if it was dumped and warmed up. Friends told me they had some good dinners here recently, so I was game to try it again. My fish - branzini- was very good, but we ordered a Caesar salad. The waitress brought over a plate of chopped iceberg lettuce with some croutons and a side of Caesar dressing - this even though even the menu states that it is made with romaine ..... A good restaurant would have simply advised that they didn't have the proper ingredients and suggest we order something else. They charged us for the uneaten "Caesar" salad. Guess I won't be going back again.

    Solid Old School

I love old school, neighborhood restaurants. Finestra was good but I have had better old school Italian in Westchester County, in Manhattan it is a dying breed. The prices are a bit high for what you receive. The portions are nice however the price is that of a very upscale restaurant. The red sauce is ok, not the best but not the worst - at the prices I would expect a starter salad to be included. The salads are pricey and lackluster. The appetizers and sides are very pricey as well. The service was very attentive and the ambience was cozy yet dated. Would I go back? Probably not.

    Italian Gem

I had a truly dinner in this cozy Italian spot on a Friday night. The calamari were delicious and fresh with a tasty sauce. My friend had the eggplant rollatine for an appetizer and it was delicious. I loved the chicken parmigiana which was thick, juicy and topped off with just the right amount of mozzarella in a tasty sauce. The linguini with clam sauce was so very fresh and scrumptious! Have the tiramisu. Great service. Romantic live guitar music mad it an especially relaxing night after a hectic week at work. It's not far from home so I had a nice walk home.

    Delicious Dinner

After eating at this restaurant many times I am finally writing a review. The dishes are scrumptious. My dish this week was chicken parmigiana that was so very yummy with a pasta side. I always have their heavenly tiramisu for dessert and I tip it all off with a very good cappuccino. The live guitar music adds to a tranquil feeling of being far away from work. The service was attentive and kind. They wanted me to enjoy my dinner. I go their often and have always had a fantastic lunch or dinner. Then I have a short walk home.

    Best Tiramisu Ever

First of all I dont order tiramisu never ever. too boring, but a friend of mine got it and I had a bite. OMG, the best ever. The food was great too. I love the place because it is a real New York. Im back to Dallas but I still dream about tiramisu! LOVE IT!

    Romantic

If you are about to have a nice and romantic date this is a right place. My boyfriend and I were looking for a live music and good food and we found it in Finestra. We came last Friday and were very surprised with the atmosphere. We ordered pappardelle and salmon...just delicious. The portions are pretty big too. Music made the atmosphere even more complete. Romantic, affordable and very cozy place. We just love it!

    My Favorite Place

Finestra is our family's favorite Italian restaurant, The servers is very pleasant and professional. The large menu has pleased the old and young menbers of our family, from pizza to delicious veal dishes, grilled fish and of course, pasta. Best yet we walk there and on busy we do takeout. We love Finestra.
