If you like the French Macaroon, try it at Financier. You must try the Coconut favor, I tasted all of them ... I think Coconut is the best. If you don't like coconut, try the chocolate macaroon. So far, I think Financier has the best Macaroon in NYC. I am still exploring ... hoping to find some place even better.

I love this place! i love everything about it. The desserts are by far my favorite ever. I get a mini cake almost everyday! The pastries are a perfect balance of sweet, texture, and flavor..

I just finished a chocolate eclair. I've had pastries from some of the best spots in Manhattan. This place is clearly a cut above. I found out the owner is a former pastry chef of several top restaurants. It clearly shows in his attn to detail. Bravo Financier, I'll be back again and again!

I think this is the best french desert place in Manhattan. Pastry chef does an excellent job both in flavor and presentation. Though service is poor and the staff can be arrogant. They definitely need to improve their customer service.

I worked close to this place and I can say I have tried almost all the pastries. They are outstanding. I buy cakes from here for all occasions and some non-occasions as well. This is definitely one thing I miss about working on Wall Street. The place is a little crowded, but in the summer sitting out on benches on the quaint cobbled street is a fun experience. The service could be better.

I found this bakery on the internet and called to get a cake delivered to my daughter for her birthday. They were very helpful and my daughter said the cake was wonderful! I hope to visit and try something for myself one day.

Excellent bakery and lunch spot. Quiche is amazing. Gets crowded with wall streeters at lunch time, but if you can find a seat, it's well worth the wait. A jewel of a spot!
