The Secret
Go for the steam table Spanish food. I am as white as they come and I'm also usually the only chubby white chick on line for the steam tables. The pizza is fine, not overly doughy like you find in a lot of those places calling themselves "famous." But I have seen the woman who makes the lunch food and she is obviously someone's much loved mom. Portions are huge, so go for the small unless you're starving. Beans are great, steak and onions very tasty. Soups are homey and satisfying. Save the pizza for late night snacking, but go go go here for lunch ASAP. I am moving out of the neighborhood and will miss it.

mediocre pizza
It was edible, but nothing special. Their service was great, though... if that counts. I had it delivered - so i know nothing about the atmosphere, like asked above.

Go for the Spanish food
I've gotten my fair amount of pizza from this place, but I wasn't that impressed until I read the newspaper atricle taped up to the front window praising this restaurant's Spanish food. It's very good; try the chicken stew. Big pieces of chicken in a good tomato- bay leaf sauce, over rice and beans. For one, go for the small size, only five dollars and it fills you up. Who would have thought that the best spanish food on the UES would be in a pizza parlor?

Nothing to write home about.
The pizza is just ok, but they are open REALLY late. Great place if you have a pizza craving at 3:30 in the morning.

Figaro NYC = Figaro Italia
I feel like I live in some amazing destination city in Italia, with Figaro Pizza at my doorstep. Fresh out of the oven you cannot beat it. Spinach, mushroom, and black olive, is the best combination you could possibly imagine. You may want to sprinkle a little parmeasan cheese and you are golden...oh yes don't forget the salt. The employees are the bomb.

Low price + good taste = winner!!
Coming from Texas and going around sampling all the local UES small pizza shops I have to say that Figaro is one of the best and cheapest places around. I even stop by just to get a bottled coke because at the delis and stores they are way overpriced... I love this place!!

It's open late
I like it. Not the best in the city, but it's not the bad. I've paid twice as much for crappy pizza from crappy servers. It's clean, they're open late, it tastes great cold.
