Good ambience, Food was great and portions were filling. As the name suggests, you better enjoy olives and olive oil or else it's a waste of your time.

Went to eat at Fig and Olive this past Sunday with friends. The atmosphere was good- clean and simple, with a pleasant aura. The food was excellent. The portions were perfect! The dishes were flavorful- not over done and very light. I also really enjoyed trying the 3 Olive oil samples I was served with my bread. Very Tasty! My only problem was that there wasn't very much room between tables. Personal space is important to me. Also, the waitress who served us seemed forced, and uninviting. Whatever. Don't know what her problem was. We tipped her well anyway. The rest of the staff seemed warm and inviting though. And although I was really put off by the waitress' attitude, I will definitely return. The food was that good!

Friendly, unpretentious service; yummy cheese tasting platter; the salad I had (fig & olive salad) was phenomenal; so was the wild mushroom pasta. And the wine list! An extensive list with fun, good wines - no stuffy overpriced wines, but instead a large selection of wines that would go well with the fairly light fare served in this wonderful restaurant. My only *wish* is for a bit more ambiance: The tables are a bit too dinery-looking, and too close together. I highly recommend it!

I felt like I walked into the Mediterranean in this adorable restaurant. Great wine list and extensive menu with very knowledgeable waitstaff. Casual with sophistication...just what this neighboorhood needs! Highly recommended!
