The Best Food 'On the Go' in NYC
QUALITY. VARIETY. CONSISTENCY This food is GREAT! Especially when you are on the go. Whenever I shop in this neighborhood and I'm tired, I go to the Epicure. The soups are ALWAYS fresh, homemade, and TASTY! They are thick and not watered down. Potato Soup, Chili, they're all good. The panini sandwiches are alway fresh and satisfying. Try the freshly made Yogurt Smoothies. Blueberry is my favorite. The yogurt is fresh & natural--it doesn't taste like the commercialized brands you buy in the supermarket. This place is High Volume, yet they maintain the Home Made Quality I so crave. Quick and Ready to Serve, yet no chemicals and preservatives. I love this place and HIGHLY RECOMMEND it. The managers and staff are friendly and helpful.

Always my favorite backup lunch place
Epicure is always the place I go when i can't think of anywhere else to go for lunch because I know i will like whatever I get there. The soups are always delicious - and they have about 7 different soups every day. The salads are never wimpy like other make your own salad places. You get a lot of salad, even for a small! The hot entrees are the best bang for the buck - a nice size piece of salmon, chicken, beef or whatever else and 2 side dishes all for $8.95. I highly recommend this place.

Best Lunch value in the Flatiron area
This is my favorite lunch place. The soups are incredible and the freshly made sandwiches are properly proportioned and a great deal at $3.95-$4.50. Try the Tomato with Asiago cheese on Rosemary ciabatta heated up. Swoon inducing.

My favorite lunch spot
The paninis are spectacular! And the soups? OH THE SOUPS! I love this place. And when the staff recognizes you when you walk in among the crowd, it says a lot for the service, too.

Soup Specials are the Best
The soup specials were amazing. I have never had such a big meal for $6.00. The place is always crowded around lunch time, but that's an indication of the quality of food that can be found here. My co-worker had a sandwich when we went and said that the chicken cutlets were also very good. I definitely recommend this place.

Spicy and Packed!
I think if I got something other than a sandwich with honey mustard I would have been ok. No, make that great. But the sandwich came with maybe the spiciest honey mustard ever produced by humans. It burned my throat, tongue and even my nose! Weirdest sensation ever. The rest of the sandwich though, was delicious. Fresh good meat, etc. My friend had the veggie chilli and enjoyed it as well. It's a hot destination at lunch time, but the staff is so professional and on top of things, you won't be waiting for long.

Delicious
Not only is the food delicious here, it's made with tender loving care. The hot pastrami sandwich I had the other day was enough for two meals and done perfectly -- the meat was freshly carved, heated with cheese and then put on the bread and then pressed. Amazing! And everyone who works there is really friendly and helpful. No request is refused. Lovely!
