    Mediocre food and poor service

We waited for a long time for a table and the food was not worth the wait. Portions were not very large and the food was not hot. I was told the roast chicken was a chicken breast when it was really chicken on the bone and it was dark meat. Food is overpriced as well. It has a nice garden, that's about it. Service was poor from the hostess to the server.

    I deliver only

I cannot comment on the restaurant as I use the place for delivery only. Here are my personal findings: The food is just ok. I know Moroccan food as I had the opportunity to travel there and to taste the best and finest food there. I find the prices bit too high but I understand the cost of running a business. I actually called for delivery at 10PM and they declined. I am happy to hear this as it means the restaurant is doing great even when everyone is hurting. It can afford to decline clients. I wish it's my case:-( but it's good news for the competition. Disappointed but hopeful.

Lovely place, esp. Garden, good food

I love the garden of Fez. Very charming. The owner is lovely, Its also really nice inside on a cold day for brunch. I love the lamb tagine and the lentil soup. And both the hot mint tea and the iced mint tea. charming place.

    Charming restaurant with great menu

Fez is a charming restaurant with great food and a cozy warm ambience. It is a treasure to have a restaurant of this quality in the Windsor Terrace neighborhood!

    satisfied

Contrary to prior reviews I was satisfied with their "under seasoned" dishes. Their flavors were simple and comforting. Very seldom have I eaten at restaurants that celebrated their mundane flavors. Although it is sparsely advertised I recommend asking for a hookah in the garden. On a beautiful day you couldn't ask for more. This establishment offers subtle ambiance while trying to make your stay worthwhile. I’d recommend any one with an optimistic outlook to give them a try. Money well spent.

    Authentic Moroccan Experience!

Fez just got a gorgeous redesign & is now a classy, elegant space w/ a cozy front bar & beautiful soft lighting all around. . . perhaps the only gem in all of Windsor Terrace! The owner is delightful, and the attentive service a reflection of her tlc-approach. I just returned from Morocco recently & this is the most authentic experience I've found in all of NYC. drop by for a pot of mint tea, a warm welcome and a lamb tagine. Can't wait for the garden to open for the season!
