Felice Wine Bar

Ugh, It's so frustrating to enjoy a night out with friends and then be treated poorly by restaurant staff just before leaving. My colleagues and I met for drinks at 4PM. The place was totally empty. We sat outside for three hours before another party showed up. We ordered many drinks and some apps. The bill wasn't small. As soon as we stopped ordering our check was dropped. We paid and then were asked to leave very curtly by the manager. No apology/Thank-you for your business during the deadest part of the day. Just, we need the table. Seriously? It was a two top at that point and we had not even finished our glasses of wine. Move us to the bar or just be apologetic. We understand turning tables is money, but really? Not one to be discouraged by NYC rude behavior, but this place is on 64th and 1st ave and the food isn't so good. Skip this place. Not worth the obnoxious attitude.

I have never written a review before, but had such a poor experience that I felt I had to react. We were given that old line of your table is ready in 15 mins and kept for 1 1/2 hours. Service was then slow and the compensation ? a plate of dough balls ! when the food arrived it was acceptable and the ambience was noisy but fine. It was a bit cheap and sleazy. Shame and rare in NY these days.

15-18 dollars for a small portion of underseasoned boxed pasta. Left with an empty wallet and empty stomach.

The food is not great and its SUPER loud. You can't hear yourself think. How is that a great dining experience? I walked in there and just asked for a merlot - I guess the bartender assuming I was rich, he poured a $20 glass of wine. I thought that was very tacky. Would not go back...its too bad because it has such potential.

Place is great for a nice dinner with your girl friend. They have a great selection of wine and the food is fresh.

really bad experience here. i've read the reviews and just don't understand how anyone thought this was good food. there are so many better italian spots on the UES. went there on saturday night and pretty much had everything the waiter recommended. the wine was weak, to start. the goat cheese crustini was ordinary and without gusto (thanks for the chopped tomatoes on top! that made it worth the $15!). the octopus salad was a joke - there were some undefinable ingredients in it. i would have preferred if they didn't cook the octuopus first thing in the morning and then dish it out in the evening, nice and cold. the main dishes were mediocre (my date's raviolis were edible) and i had a lamb pasta pocket that no - ZERO - seasoning. so disappointed. worst part? our waiter couldn't have cared less. please don't go here for dinner.

Walked by many times. Decided to try when my sister was in town. Wanted a nice bottle of wine, good food and some time to talk and caught up. The wine selections are good, though the server tried to force an expensive bottle on us. Food was OK. It was so loud in there, we had to shout to hear each other. Too bad. I probably won't go back
