Amazing food at an unbeatable price
This place was amazing. I had it for the first time today, and it exceeded my expectations. I had a chicken kebab pita sandwich with falafel and the chicken was juicy and succulent, the falafel absolutely delicious and savory...I could go on and on! I got the extra value meal, adding french fries and a drink for $2, the french fries were perfect and crispy...I'll definitely be coming to this place again and again, as I work in the area.

Definitely Recommend
I was kinda skeptical about this place as I have never eaten mediterrean food. However after eating I was extrememely satisfied. I was so satisfied that while at work (since I didn't have a menu) I googled till my fingers fell off to try to find the place and have them deliver food to my job. I succeded :-)

Dream find!
I tried Fava for the first time today and I had the chicken gyro pita. It was freshly prepared and SO delicious--I've had plenty of gyro and souvlaki in my time, and this was amongst the best. The bread was fluffy, the chicken was fresh and warm, and the salad was tangy and crispy. Plus, the owner is the nicest guy and the prices are more than modest. I will DEFINITELY be coming back, and you should certainly give it a try!

Great food!!!
This place is the best hidden secret in Gramercy. I order the Chicken Pita regulary and the Falafel. The chicken was seasoned to perfection and very hot and juicy. In fact, the cook was very generous with the meat and I was completely full. I also love the falafel. It was very flavorful!!! All of this food for such a low price in NYC!!! Fava has won me as a regular.

Worth it for the price
As other reviews have pointed out, the food is very reasonably priced. I tried Fava for the first time and ordered a Falafel pita. It was very basic though, just a slice or two of tomato and a sheet of lettuce with the falafel,and the sauce (was it really tahini?) was extremely watery and did not add anything to the taste. The servers were friendly and helpful though, and its a cozy little place.
