are you done yet?
Don't come here for dinner and expect to talk with friends. The music was unbearably loud, the service very rushed and the food was not good and expensive. The duck breast was fat and bone. The sliders were below par. The fish fry was meagre. We enjoyed the UWS, but would NEVER return here! We should have walked when we heard the "music" and got the bum rush from the waitress. I cannot warn the wary enough. Stay away unless your are very young, mindless and just want to drink. We are even wary of returning to the UWS location after this. $160 for 4 for four glasses of wine and very little subpar food.

Really? $45 for a few crab legs? Really?
What a tremendous dissapointment. Their favorite ingredient is salt -- I got the spicy crab and I couldn't get through it - a few crab legs in a sloppy, salty curry sauce and some Texas toast -- for $45?? Utterly disappointing and majorly overpriced. The best part was the bread, but I couldn't enjoy dipping it in the sauce, my throat burned from sodium. The soup with the chinese sausage was also saltier than it needed to be. Would never go back.

Force Fed!
At the new UWS branch, our waitress told us to order 6 dishes for 3 people. We ordered 3 plus a side of kang kong and she said it wasn't enough, so we ordered a 4th. It was way too much food. PLUS the waitress refilled our wine glasses each time we took a sip, even after we asked her not to. The big push to eat and drink a lot plus being rushed out after our food was delivered added up to a huge turnoff. I won't go back, even though the food was pretty good but uneven.

Slim Jim
I thought the skate tasted like a slim jim. There was basically alot of spicy meat product on a bed of fish.

Wish the food wasn't so damn good
The food is so damn good so I keep coming back, but it's definitely an like abusive relationship. I'm not treated well but I come back for more because I can't get the same food anywhere else. The servers consistently "order you up" with tons of pressure and my party always ends up with way more food than is necessary. Then as if they know you have about 4 bites left, they start hovering and cleaning up. I mean, where's the courtesy?

Amazing crabs
This is my second time at fatty crab and both experiences have been great. We were told that we had to wait 40 mins for a table- the 40 min wait landed up being a 10 min wait. My friend and I had the pork buns with a cilantro salad which tasted great- the sweet bun complimented the spicy sauce the buns came with. We then had the chili crab which came with white toast. Even though it was a messy experience breaking the crab- it tasted amazing. The chili sauce it drenched in the crab was authentic and flavorful. We were stuffed after this meal which only came to 25$ a person which was reasonable for a restaurant in the west village. We were given complimentary coconut mochi which was also very tasty. I will def be back there again! the staff was friendly however it would it would be better if the place was bigger!

Fatty Crab: Superb Rip Off
This place is one of the biggest rip offs in New York City. When our first entree (Malay Fish Fry) arrived we both thought it was a freebee. Bland breaded fish on a dollop of curried rice. Yes, the fish was fresh but the portion size was something only a leprechaun would find satisfying. Our second dish was no better. Wonton Mee Fried noodles had a small amount of fried noodles in a bowl containing four small wontons and maybe a quarter cup of bland broth. This for $17?
